hounds overagers for next season :
Carlisle, Schenkel, Fantino, Dezoete, ( 3 of these 4 )
Have to believe,
O. Allard, G. Hayes, BMB, Kudryavtsev, & Karki will be playling professional hockey somewhere.

I doubt Schenkel will be back as an OA, I'd hate to see that spot taken up by a goalie and I'd rather see Miller take the reins with Tegelaar as backup.

Can largely expect any top tier players will be sold off next season imo

Idk he said yesterday that he was "Really Close" that's different as he's been usually saying "he's close"
Bryce is listed on the lineup for tonight, idk if that means he will be playing or not, guess it will be a wait and see

+1 for that lineup, with the following tweak.
-DeZoete moves up to 3LW
-D'Intino moves down to 4LW

At least, that's how I would start

The more i think about it, the more i like that idea. we know what D'Intino can do, but it'd be nice to give this kid a shot at 3rd line. his MM numbers were really good and he may fit in better there. i'd like to see if he can find that scoring touch again and maybe stick around for a productive OA year.

It would be great if he can find a scoring touch. Our third line as it's laid out is not really a scoring line though. Cloutier is barely 0.5 ppg when you take out his special teams points. Brown is less than 0.5 ppg. Our third line should be considered more of a checking line I think. The players on the line need to play as a 3 man unit with strict roles for each. I think it's exactly why DeZoete was acquired, was to play in that role.

The fourth line is probably going to have more opportunity to get set up in the offensive zone. Martin and Hayes have proven to be capable offensive players, and the line should get better matchups than the third line. I think this is where D'Intino would fit in better.

Where do you see tonight's lineup?

well that wasn't pretty but schenkel put the team on his back while we figured it out. we were very disjointed and sloppy in our end but i suppose with so many new guys in the lineup and the lines in a blender we can cut them some slack. hopefully we can get some chemistry back soon. the return of BMB will be huge.

Meanwhile, the lout from London who caused the concussion was back on the ice last night.

Interestingly, he was minus -1 for the game ... Quite the accomplishment when your team wins by a score of 6 to 1.
We're all in agreement over the cheapshot on BMB. And I want to see him return as soon as you guys do... He's a London boy! As for Boulton, he did play a positive role last night, steamrolling 2 Spirit players on a single shift which added momentum. But I think about BMB often, and want him to return heathy. Sorry you guys had to deal with that crap.

The good news is he is skating and practicing. The bad news is I believe he still wears a yellow non contact jersey. Rather him 100% than even 90%, so I’m not worried about the length of time.

He was walking the concourse at the game last night, though.

Team's playing fine in his absence, it'll feel like we made a late addition to the lineup once he's back healthy

This is true. I saw him on the ice today practicing with half the team and was, in fact, wearing a yellow jersey and socks.
