I really liked the way clattenburg played. Needed that for a playoff run for sure. Kostov was coming into his own too.

Man. Doesn't leave us many picks left and we are down a player now.

Glad we got Hayes.

Was hoping it'd be brown instead of kostov. And I'm not sure about the sirrizotti trade.

the Sirizzotti trade was a bit surprising given how well he's been playing as of late...the three players that all left played huge roles on the club, wish them well

Maybe raftis is looking for another oa that he can bring back like bloom cause I'm not sure why we'd send sirrizotti and run wirh Dino. Unless something else is brewing.

we are pretty short on forwards at this point now. sending out 3 and getting back 2 hurts. hope there are no injuries lol

I like the Hayes move. It was expensive, but he's exactly what we needed. Losing Kostov is really going to hurt down the road and while I like Clattenburg, he fits a bit better with Flint's timeline.

The Frasca move I don't understand. First of all, is he even better than Sirizzotti? Second of all, why not trade D'Intino instead? It probably made no difference to a non-contender like Barrie.

He'll be a good net-front presence on the PP, so that's good. It's just extraordinarily pricy for a marginal upgrade.

Huge mixed feelings about the Hayes deal. I know he’s a top performer but I just put huge value in Kostov and Clattenburg’s games. Flint got two studs. How many times are we going to value skill over toughness and pay the price?

Stats wise Frasca is twice as good

Frasca is built for playoffs as is Hayes. Frasca is 6'5" and can score. Hayes is big and scores. Surely great upgrades for playoff time.

I kinda don’t think anyone would want brown, no offence to him or anyone, it’s not like he’s lighting it up. Just cuz he’s a first rounder isn’t enough. Later picks and second rounders from that draft are way out performing him. Take Gabriel Fresca as an example. Or even a d like cristifaro in Windsor

13 points in 19 playoff games. Hopefully we'll see better than that for the price we paid. Regardless of how Frasca plays, I question the wisdom of keeping D'Intino over Sirizzotti.

No offence taken lol. He’s not very relevant for a former first rounder, and definitely a hard sell to any team. Which is why I think we saw more valuable players like Kostov and Clattenburg go.

Hayes is big and takes the puck to the net but he doesn’t throw many hits. He’s solid but not exceptional along the boards. I don’t think he’s ever had a fight. I’m probably jinxing it here for you guys and he’ll light it up in the playoffs but he was non-existent vs the Spirit last year and it’s been mentioned a lot in the arena he often doesn’t show up for big games.

I don’t think you can trade a player while they are on injured reserve, have to be healthy
