Tried to fight aboflan Wednesday and was mixing it up with clattenburg yesterday. Will probably see him drop the mitts at some point tonight to get noticed. Has been playing with an edge all week.

Watched Diego at a Q camp tryout Aug of 22. Same type of player. Limited skill always looking for a tilt and always playing **it disturber role.

Agreed. Deep crop of 16 and 17 year olds. If we could somehow acquire draft picks to aid us when they are older we would have a great shot at a few special years. A defence corp of evans, bmb, virgilio, gillen and Solomon as 18 and 19 year olds would have any coach salivating

I thought Toms was one of our best defensemen on Friday. Had some really smart pinches down low that kept the play alive and resulted in goals. Solid defensively too.

Whoever we trade is not just going to be a 7th d for someone, they should slot in at 4 or 5 on most teams.

Brzustowski was reliable enough to not be a liability, but Raftis got more than full value from a team plagued with injury at the time of the trade imo.

I think Brady Martin will be fine. Good strong young man. He works hard - it just didn't pay off for him in the two games I saw. Hopefully he has linemates who complement his skill set.

Count me among those impressed by Travis Hayes. Also works hard and brings great energy to the ice.

Agreed. His iq is high. And he has an uncanny ability to steal pucks. He was impressive all camp IMO. Made some really impressive plays.
