I applaud Vladdy. I love that he is making an effort. And he is going to get better and better at it.
I hope he does more in the future but I also understand he maybe reluctant doing a live interview in your 2nd language as he may say something that can be misinterpreted. Most people would understand that he is speaking in his 2nd language but there would be others that would make a controversy out of it.

That brings end of another home ST season and roughly 330 days and 87 wins until we get to do it again.

You can't trust ip numbers.

Both years include time in the lab, so he actually threw more than both numbers, but some of it wasn't in a game setting.
Yeah, I can't remember if it was 2023 or 2022, but I remember at one point they sent him to the complex for a few weeks before moving him up a level. It won't show in the stats, but whatever he was doing there would likely count towards his innings pitched that year... we just wouldn't know about it.

You really believe Kirk, Vlad and Springer will all underperform again this year? Add Varsho to that list.

The pitching is about the same, and outside of the Yankees adding Soto, they are not any better.

87 seems low. 100 seems high.

No reason they can't win 95

I expect them to hit a little better and if everything goes well with the pitching, anywhere between 85-90 is a pretty darned good season.

86.5 is the O/U on many Vegas sites. 95 could happen, but that seems extremely aggressive.

I don't think you can say Varsho underperformed last year, His career average numbers are pretty much inline with what he did last year. He performed slightly worse than his average but not much. There's a non insignificant possibility that his 2022 season was an small outlier and that expecting progress from that season was unrealistic.
