The Stanley Cup can walk into the most crowded bar and get all the girls, while the other trophies just wait behind the red ropes.

New York Rangers = Stanley Cup Champions of leading after 2 periods.

I am always amazed at how New Yorkers rationalize their team is better and without a trophy.

Yep, the Rangers got smoked in just about all measurable categories in the series. Ending in 5 games is completely expected given how they were dominated on the ice. I guess if they played Little League rules and fewer innings, the Mets would be champs. Anyone with a set of eyes that can actually see could tell that the Royals were obviously the better team.

Mets are like the rangers, get a lead but can't hold it. So sad too bad.

Remind me how many third period and overtime goals they scored again?

So in baseball, series wins besides the World Series are also celebrated with champagne. The losers of a series don't bother going out to the field to congratulate the winners, making it look like they're sore losers. Okay...

Every sport has different traditions. If they all did what hockey does, then hockey's wouldn't be special or unique.

Well this isn't exactly about a sport, but a jury just awarded TJ Simers $7.1 million in his discrimination suit against the LA Times.

Who knows what Greinke will do, he told the Angels when they traded for him that he would prefer to play in a smaller market because of his anxiety disorder, he ofcourse then signed to play in the second largest market in the country because they offered the most money.

He seems like he has a little bit of Ryan Smyth in him, he would prefer to play in a place like Milwaukee or Pittsburgh but he also wants to get every dime possible.
