Gibson returning to the dodgers as the manager has a nice story to it, but I don't know if he'd be a good fit. Loved Gibby as a player, but as a manager, just unsure.

My money's on another former dodger, Dave Roberts or Bud Black.

How exactly do you get the owner out?
And I have said this before the wrong kid got control. Jeanie was being groomed for the job and in the last year or so of dads life he for some unknown reason decided to let Jim have the job.

Out from making decisions. He thinks he knows more than he does and constant failure will force him to let go of the control.
 
Don't understand why the dodgers made a QO of 15.8M to Anderson. Not only is he average/slightly above average SP, but now, the dodgers have 4 lefty starters: Kershaw, Ryu, Anderson, Wood. Do the dodgers go after Price, and make it all lefty SPs??? :pullhair:

I wouldn't count Ryu, that guy is done as a SP, if he does comeback he'll most likely be a long reliever or a spot starter when needed.

I really think the Dodgers are going to overpay for Greinke but at this point they really don't have a choice.

they really need to hire a manager already
 
Rhonda Rousey KO'd in the 2nd round by Holly Holm, Unbelievable!

Rousey, actually fought a very stupid fight. She chased after Holly, trying to fight standing up against Holm, who's a former boxer. Rousey needed to take Holm to the ground, and do what she does best, but like I said, she fought a stupid fight.

Ryu's a great pitcher. A solid #2 on most teams. Not quite sure what makes you think he can't pitch anymore. But regardless, I strongly disagree with you on Ryu.

It can happen to the best, when you start reading your own press clippings. Happens to all fighters and greats sometimes.

They start believing they can't be beat, and get sloppy.

Yep, that's exactly what happened. She thought she was invincible because of her last 3 fights.

This loss could be a blessing in disguise, if she and her corner can learn from it.

Also with all the attention, endorsements and movie roles that she's involved in, sometime your focus is not where it should be. When she got tko'd, man it looked like it was in slo-motion.

Yup it's a classic.

Can't stand the Patriots now. Were indifferent to them before deflateglate, really. But with all the cheating bull **** that goes on with that team and Brady's ****ing arrogant "**** you" attitude towards the league I just hope they lose and lose big in the playoffs.
