Lakers should have drafted one of the centers, but they decided to go Westbrook, and take a flier on converting an off-guard to a PG. Not the route I would have taken, but we'll see how it plays out this year. I'm thinking, another long LONG year for the lakers.

If the lakers were smart, they'd trade Kobe, so, they can add a couple of more pieces for a total rebuild.

The only player that intrigues me is Nance. I hope he has a good year.

D'Angelo Russell will be a huge bust. Kobe and Byron Scott is gonna ruin this kid. Poor dude. Name the last second overall pick in the NBA draft that amounted to anything besides Kevin Durant. I rest my case. Gonna be a veeeeeeeeeeery long season again.

Lakers can't trade Kobe, no one in their right mind would take him. It will be interesting to see what happens if Bryant decides he wants to play another season, a good chunk of the fanbase worships the ground the guy walks on and would rather keep him even if it means it hurts the team.

As for the Chargers, as an Orange County native I could care less where they play, they could relocate to Pyongang as long as Mike McCoy is not the coach.

He's 37 years old, he makes $25m a year,is a disaster defensively and has an ego as big as his contract.

Do you hear what these rival executives say about him in these articles, no one would touch him.

LaMarcus Aldridge isn't too bad. It's just a coincidence that number 2 overall picks don't pan out that often.

That's right I forgot about Aldridge but yeah totally agree if you go back ten, even 15 years to the year 2000 only 3 guys and I included Tyson Chandler(01') became great to good players. I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see Russell amounting to anything. Just my .02.

My god Joe Buck gets worse year after year. Every play he tries to make it seem like an historic moment just waiting to happen.

I'm a Charger fan but I have no interest in seeing them move here. They are San Diego's team. I highly doubt many fans will adopt them if they move here and I think a LOT of San Diego people will disown them.

Raiders are the Raiders. They'll draw the same 40-50K fans left over from when they were here before but nobody else will go to those games. It'll be a disaster from a corporate perspective (luxury suites, etc)

The Rams have the best chance to succeed but does anyone really think there is any kind of a groundswell of demand here for an NFL team? I know many people who follow the NFL, play fantasy etc and I've never heard a single one ever express any desire for a team here. There may be a demand from a league/corporate perspective but I don't see it from a rank and file fan perspective.

Being a Raider fan, I hope they move here but I won't hold my breath. I don't think it would matter anyway for me personally. I would never make the 70 mile trip up the 405 to Carson on a gameday. The Rams seem to be the only team with an actual plan and the Rams owner seems determined to move but I'm not sure the support is still there. The Chargers have always had minimal support and I don't see that changing whether they stay or relocate. I find it hilarious their owner talking about protecting their property in Orange and LA Counties after that supposed home game they just played vs. Oakland

It doesn't help that his partner is Harold Reynolds. Who the hell thought that was a good team to call the World Series? I'd rather hear Pete Rose slur all his words.

The Ram tradition in LA is dim. The Chargers' is non-existent.

The Rams tradition is not dim in L.A.. The Evil Georgia drove the Rams into the ground the last 4 - 6 years she was here.

(LLS: one of the most satisfying things about going to Rams games those last few years, was having seats near the team entrance. Just before half time, Georgia would walk out of the tunnel and on to the field to a chorus of boos and much, MUCH worse. She quit coming out the last few years)

If the Rams come back, fans will come out of the woodwork to follow them.

I agree, but it needs to happen soon. People that were the youngest fans of the Rams when they were relevant in Southern California are probably in their early 40's by now.

Gonna need some nostalgia to go along with it as well. You know Deiter Brock Day, and such. :)

One of the worst QB's in Rams history.

After watching 5 mins of the lakers game, I've come to the conclusion that this team, as is, won't win 20 games.

I don't know what the lakers' brass see in Randle. He's a power forward that can't rebound and is often out of control.

Put Nance in there!

If the Lakers look that bad, then I'd imagine these Timberwolves won't win 10 games. They're getting spanked around.
