I completely forgot this game was on. Would have loved to see Krap's performance. lol

Krap describes it well, although he had a lot of help in that regard.

After UCLA beat Cal, here's hoping the Kings can make it a completely miserable sports night in the Bay Area.

Exactly. Smith sucks as well but for different reasons. You've got to have all time great defenses for QB's like that to win a Super Bowl.

It makes me happy to realize the 49ers kept the wrong qb.

I enjoy watching their trainwreck - just awesome!

Same here. It's like the west coast version of RGH3,except Kap is a better qb who listen to his coach and doesn't get injured every 3rd game. The best trade in Rams history was trading their pick to the Redskins in that draft.

It's adorable how Cal and UCLA spend their halftime focusing on USC. Stupid tradition reenacted by two nothing programs.

Let us know when USC wins something without cheating or a murderer on the roster. :)

OT: We lost one of my all-time faves today. Maureen O'Hara passed at 95 years of age. Classy actress.

Sad to hear. The last survivor of Miracle on 34th Street but still outlasted John Payne by a couple of years or so.

USC was dumb enough to get caught. I'm not naive enough to think every school doesn't do this.

Now that is how it's ****ing done. That is the team I expect to show up every night. Clay Helton has motivated, energized, and executed phenomenally. This team is a national championship contender when they aren't being led by a coach that is drunk on the sidelines. Two extremely well executed games so far.

Cameron Smith and USC simply dominated this game. Wasn't close.

I have come to the conclusion that the Pac-12 just doesn't have enough crap teams for one of them to ever win a national title in the near future.

Also not a single dominant team. Talent is well distributed in the Pac-12. Utah's QB finally had the stinker of a game that everyone knew was in him. In the Pac-12 there aren't many gimme's and when you turn the ball over, you lose.

SC will contend for a National Championship next season if they have a proper coach. That's the final missing piece. Helton deserves a long look.

Nobody in the Pac-12 will compete for a national championship for a long time. USC, UCLA, Utah, Stanford are all capable of beating great teams, vulnerable to laziness against mediocre opponents.

do you think the 49ers are better with Kapernick and not Smith?

A running qb has NEVER won the SB (at least not that I know of). There's a reason for that.

Russell Wilson. People have forgotten his ability to run.

Several running QBs have come literally one play away from a victory though including Kaepernick.

But the 49ers aren't better with Alex Smith. They're the same. Mediocre.
