so much sass in here. As expected @Thirty One is the only one with the level of professionalism and care expected from a member of the CPA.

LRL, Zac played a lot of RD in his 10 games last year, but don't think that's going to be a thing going forward.

My line of thinking is Jones replacing K'andre which looks plausible based on L/R. Jones-Trouba would be a good pairing I think.

I really think people are reading into the Kravtsov thing too much. For all we know he sprained his ankle and is staying off of it for a couple days.

That being said, I think Gauthier outplayed him this camp but it sure seems like the Rangers are going to hand him a NHL spot and hope he does something with it.

Definitely Kravtsov “issue” is overblown by some fans. I mean, if Kravtsov option is

A. staying back to continue to rehab his injury to guarantee return for the last two preseason games and improve his chances to be in the starting lineup come regular season, or
B. Go on a team trip

I think a player with proper attitude would choose A. Would he want to be with the guys? Sure, but he’d gain more in the eyes of teammates and coaches if he stays back for this reason.

As far as the internal competition goes, Kravtsov played s total of what, one game and a period? Not much of sample size but I do want to see more in at least one remaining games.

Since Kreider is a right wing now...he is behind Vitaly and Gauthier

How can you be so sure of that? He's played nearly four times as many AHL games as NHL games in his career. He was waived and got pretty high up the waiver order last season, but the Bruins had an upcoming game against Tom Wilson. He was just a free agent so every team had a chance to bid on him, and he thought the Rangers offer was the best, so many other teams like him at this price?

I think it's very unlikely the Rangers waive him, but I think him clearing would be a distinct possibility.
Mason Geerston just got claimed. You think Tinordi wouldn’t be? The Rangers had competition to sign him.

You're comparing a 150K commitment to a $1.8 million one.

I'm sure the Rangers had competition for him. I'm also sure those teams moved on to plan B and weren't waiting for their second chance at Tinordi, if they even wanted him at the price the Rangers paid.

He could be claimed. Think it's weird to assume it's a slam-dunk.

Seems to me the decision isn't whether to waive Tinordi, it's between 8 D (Hajek) or 14 F (Gauthier)

Which one would you rather waive/keep

Thinking about starting a new HF political faction for Zac Jones to usurp Miller's role and status within the organization.

Still don’t understand the Nils beating out Zac Jones concept. If you watched all zones of play this pre-season, Jones has been a much better all around player. Besides one specific board play to the right of the goalie Nils was outmuscled off the puck a lot and weak on his in-zone play.

Zac Jones has looked infinitely better this pre-season. I’m a big Nils guy, but if anyone needs some NA AHL seasoning out of the two, it’s him.
Jones played in a win against the AHL Bruins and a loss to the Devils. That’s it. I’d say that’s not enough to make a call either way. Or, at least, not enough to change the plan. Let’s at least see the last two pre-season games before making a call.

I agree with the concept but disagree with the principals. To me it's actually between Tinordi and Hunt (because I don't think Drury wants to risk losing either Hajek or Gauthier to waivers). Would keep Tinordi as the 8th D and send Hunt to Hartford.

But your guess is as good as mine. 50 /50

Staropramen isn't bad, definitely top 3, but Starobrno is probably my favourite Czech beer, followed by Pernštejn.
All the “Staro” beers.
