Carolina is the better team. The Rangers were outplayed in all four games by Carolina. Georgiev won them the game in Carolina before the trade deadline. That Carolina team is good.

I thought it was at worst even in the third game and was really hoping that the team narrowed the gap significantly with their trade deadline acquisitions. Guess not.

Hopefully Kakko can get in these next two games. Rest Panarin, Copp and Mika as well. Rest Fox and Lindy for a game too.

I haven't been this disappointed since David Desharnais played second line minutes

HFNYR: rest everyone and prepare for the playoffs.

Also HFNYR: why were Rooney and Reaves playing so much tonight?
I think we're all just concerned that this coach will minimize the teams chances to win with his very terrible line decisions. The team should also rest. But I see what you tried to do here.

Laffy deserves top 6 minutes. Vatrano's new car smell has worn off, put him on the third line. Won't happen, but it should.
I want Laf to stay on the 3rd and get a regular shift if it is going to be Kakko-Chytil-Laf. It was starting to click before the injuries.

I love nothing more then seeing opposing fans in our GDT

Was an honor to see @Surrounded By Ahos and @StorminSnvechnAho have nothing better to do with their time

Honestly a few years ago when they started to do the storm surge and the bunch of jerks thing happened I was rooting for them…now they have become such a clutchy grabby bunch of assholes. No wonder deangelo fits in so well with them lol

Agreed. Keep the line. Play them 18+ minutes.

It's not a good feeling going into any playoff series with the aftertaste of the Quinn playin round against the Canes. How we play right now or who rests etc or plays into form etc, it's all nebulous to me until we wash Quinn out of our mouthes.

We shot ourselves in the foot the first half of the game, everyone was trying to feed Kreider the puck and the Canes clearly saw that since there were always 2 guys on him. They came to play the last 10 minutes of the game and played it like a playoff game.

Boy I can't wait to see Trouba, Schneider, and Lindgren throwing some monster hits in game 1. Because they are ready and they will be throwing the body around.

If all goes well, the Bruins will remember how to play playoff hockey and beat them up a bit. Their regular season performance (outscored 16-1) doesn't give me much hope though. Was hoping Washington would get the WC1 spot and give the Canes a 7 game slug fest.

Add Miller hits to the pile. We are ready for to bring the hammer these playoffs.

Will say once next week comes, and the games are close the Top 4 D are going 24-28 minutes a night.

You're basically asking the third pair to not be noticed for 8-10 minutes a game, now can they do that, I'm not really confident, but Nemeth and Schneider aren't seeing 15 minutes each like they did tonight.

That play in series wasnt really representative of much. That hockey came after months of down time to covid. Even the winning teams through the first 2 rounds didnt look good. It Wasn't until the conference finals when hockey looked good.

We already clinched playoffs so no need to over exert ourselves. Bubble wrapping players is the right move right now. If we want to make it past round 1 we have to start healthy. I like the precaution with panarin and copp.

Ironically, i feel like they will all be back come playoff time and i think worst case kakko shines instead of copp if he actually just reaggravated his injury. Either way, we know they are hockey players so they will probably play through it and we will find out about the injuries afterwards. Like what happened to seguin when he tore his body apart to get the stars to the final.

Im praying we do stay healthy though. After the playoffs, give players as much rest as they need. I think we do have a chance to do some damage but the pathing looks like we gotta go through pitt or washington, which both seem very doable. I think pitts is the better bang for the buck but i also dont trust wsh goaltending. Then we have to hope bruins beat up carolina enough for us to go through them. After that, we pray that tampa goes out of the atlantic. Id be fine with panthers too. If tor moves past the 1st round, ill be a little scared. Til they do that, not really. After that, we gotta hope that the kings somehow end up putting a miracle run although i think its gonna be calgary or colorado. My bet is honestly on calgary. They are scary. Coloarda is too but i trust markstom more.

Look, put plainly not igor's sharpest game but we were down our 1b line. Happens. Im not worried. Guy locks in when it matters. He probably is not putting in 100% either. Give geo the last two starts. Let igor get ready mentally.

There is a reason why teams know all they have to do is

After the injuries, Gallant proceeded to give those minutes to Goodrow of course (17:28) and Kevin f***ing "I want to kill myself" Rooney for some f***ing reason (15:46). He finally relented and gave Lafreniere (14:22) a bit of time and we scored two goals.

Keep mansplaining to me about how he won't do that in the playoffs even though he's done it the entire ass season.
The thing that is insane is he had Goodrow out with the extra attacker before all of it. And then with a minute and change left, he puts Laf out with the big boys. Like what the hell? How do you just forget about your number one overall pick on the bench? The guy had jump too and needs ice time. This coach has had a fantastic year and so has the team, but he's clearly ****** crazy.
