Also, beyond Shesterkin this was an awful game. We did play half the game without two of our best players. But we just got forechecked to death. Even right before the Kreider goal we were just being punished in our end and that was the Mika line with Trouba/Miller. I was very discouraged with how badly we got outplayed. I can't believe how close the shots and goals were.

no reason after that game to think the canes are a tier above us. that said, we play real soft hockey against teams like that. Nashville, Isles, even Washington prove really difficult opponents for us because we aren't willing to play rough.

I was told I was crazy for wanting to bring Motte back over him.

Othmann can do his job starting next year on an ELC.

I'd put Lafreniere back with Kreider and Zib too if we're really going by merit.

Yeah, this was definitely Vatrano worst game as a Ranger. Hopefully he resets. To many golden opportunities he didn’t capitalize on and was out of position on many of his shifts.

Truly sucks not to have Motte in the lineup. That's a game he would've made a big difference in IMO.

Copp leaving the game is a really bad sign imo.

every single cubic centimeter of shine has come off Vatrano. he's been our worst (NHL) forward for 2 weeks now.

Yeah he hasn’t looked good the last handful of
games. I’d give Kakko a shot on that line and see how Vartrano fits with Laf and Chytil.

After the injuries, Gallant proceeded to give those minutes to Goodrow of course (17:28) and Kevin f***ing "I want to kill myself" Rooney for some f***ing reason (15:46). He finally relented and gave Lafreniere (14:22) a bit of time and we scored two goals.

Keep mansplaining to me about how he won't do that in the playoffs even though he's done it the entire ass season.

This coach low-key really f***ing hates Filip Chytil. I don't know what I have to do to convince people Chytil is our 4C. Rooney just played three and half more minutes and nobody who got hurt was a center.

As long as Laf is with Chytil, Laf is on the 4th line.

I will say that he did send them over the boards, but at the same time, they were stuck in their zone for 2 minutes at a time, so those minutes so build up.
