Aha, I think this situation is at least more "normal" than some switches.

Only played one game for Spain and it was only as senior national team got COVID so the u-21 team played vs Lithuania in a friendly instead!

Morocco's team for next WC looking better and better.

Oh yeah, I meant unfair as in adding him to Morocco, not the switch itself, haha!

He's not that good. He'll be useful for them though.

No idea why he went to Real though. Money I guess.

I do think it seems like he has kicked on over the last 18 months. Has looked good in a more central position as well when played there, and ofc can also play both wings... which is nice from a Moroccan perspective.

Amrabat (27)
Ounahi (23)
El Khannous (19)
Diaz (24)

is a pretty great group of players for DM-CM-AM

Amine Adli, Amir Richardson, Oussama El Azzouzi, Ismael Saibari, Abdel Abqar, Ibrahim Salah, Youssef Maleh are other guys with dual nationalities who have all accepted call-ups to senior NT recently too.

Adli and Richardson have some real potential...

Shame they could not convince Lamine Yamal aha.

they really need a good Striker though. The one position they are kind of lacking. En-Nesyri is the best and a solid top level striker... but he is still more of a CF really that ST.

Scotland could have booked their Euro ticket today, but lost away to Spain.

Spain is away to Norway next in this cycle while Scotland is done until November. Any points dropped by Norway means Scotland gets through.

Maybe I am biased...

but the Portugal team over the last ~5 years (and will be for the next 5) is just ridiculous for a nation of 10 million.

Though Uruguay and Croatia and their 3.5 and 3.8 million is still always the most impressive really given how many class players both produce... but usually carried by ~3-5 guys each. Whereas Portugal are deeeep.
