Dare we dream?

Speaking striclt from an opportunity/experience standpoint, once Kane retires/after the euros, that spot is wide open. England doesn't really have any established strikers beyond him.

Then again, I'd probably rather play for anyone than Southgate, so there is that to consider.

Edit:
Now I believe Bayern can win the CL.

It’s getting to the point where Spurs’ manager searches are more interesting than their actual games.

He would be an upgrade on Conte imo. Has a great mind for the game and until Bayern it also translated well on the pitch. And it's not like he wasn't successful at Bayern. They still would've won the league with him I'm convinced.

He coaches a more aggressive attacking style than Conte, and Spurs fans would be all for that. Theoretically he would be a great hire. But in practice it depends on whether or not he and the board have a shared vision going forward. I don't know if it's realistic for Spurs to be in "win now" mode. Apparently he admired Poch during his tenure at Spurs, if he's interested in being the next Poch and building something and if the board will support that, then I'll fly to Munich and drive him to White Hart Lane. After the Mourinho mess, the Nuno fiasco, and the Conte mess, they need to get this one right.

I think if Kanes goes in the summer, they will have to at least entertain the idea of a rebuild. Son isn't getting any younger either and already looks like he's slowing down.

Brazil had a hissy fit at the end and were just trying to hurt Morrocan players. Was kind of embarassing.

Interesting to see how Morocco look at next world cup.

There is talk Brahim Diaz is going to switch from Spain to them too. He is deciding in the next few months seemingly.

And in El Khannous and Ezzalzouli... well... both look on track to being world class right now.

If you watched, was Santos noticeable at all? I've heard he looked phenomenal (score sheet aside) at the u20, but trying not to get too caught up in hype.

Did not stand out... but you can see the intelligence he has. Usually in the right spot and very good at pushing up the pitch and getting into weak areas on the edge of the box to control play.

Was not overawed at all... BUT he was given a lot to do at times and El Khannouss gave him some trouble. Two 18 year olds head to head is not something you see often in senior international football.

Brazil = trash

Being able to change what country you represent randomly = also trash

Tbf it is not that random in this cade.

Brahim Diaz's father is Moroccan, spent a lot of time there as a kid, and Spain gave him one cap in a friendly a few years ago and never called him up again.

I do think FIFA have gone too far though with allowing players to play competitive games (albeit outside of major championships) and still change. I agreed with the friendly rule... like yeh, fine, if never have a competitive game for a nation, should 100% be able to change. But now... being able to play multiple competitive fixtures and change is silly.

That’s what I mean. You shouldn’t be able to change after you’ve already represented another country.

Except for Balogun. I’ll allow that one.
