Yeah... I don't claim to be an MLS expert so maybe someone here can correct me but Miami already has 3 DPs (and somehow Jordi Alba isn't l, which is laughable, but I digress) in Mezsi, Campana and Busquets. So assuming the rumor is true, Suarez would count as a 4th, so im guess Campana is on his way out. Or he'll magically not need to be a DP anymore.

There's talk that the Apple deal will allow each team to have a 4th DP and some combination of raising the cap plus additional GAM (general allocation money) - basically funny cap money that allows a team to buy down a player's cap hit compared to their actual salary.

I'd think this move basically confirms that.

And sadly, the Union will continue to fall behind.
