It has been heavily rumoured! But hopefully sticks around City for a few more years... especially with his Dad's history with the club, and Man City being one of his fave teams growing up.

Really hope Gio Reyna keeps improving and City sign him aha, so can add another high quality Man City fan to the team aha.

Shame they sold Cole Palmer...

a:

Haaland
Foden-Reyna-Palmer

for an all Man City fan front four would be cool aha.

No it's not ;)

Sure was. My edit hit before you responded though.
Guess those hands are all for show, huh?

Speaking of Reyna, he’s starting today and definitely showing why he deserves it.

So many perfect little sneaky passes that create chances for his teammates.

Love how he plays for the same reason I love how Giroux plays.

Fast as hell, but his decision making is… questionable.

When he’s “on”, he’s very impactful though.
Not familiar with him. See his on the bench. High probability we see him today?

Amazing secondary assist for Gio! Just kidding but I do like how they clearly try and play through him. Hopefully has a big second half. I don’t get to watch BVB too often

Adeyemi began the year as a starter after a great second half of last year, but he was extremely underwhelming and mistake-prone for multiple games until he lost his spot.

I’d guess he comes on towards the end as a sub.

I think Gio is going to be subbed for Nmecha soon. This is the most minutes he’s played in a single game in long time, so I think they want to kinda ease him in a little.

Nice call! I assume he is coming off injury?

Yeah, fractured shin bone during the summer in the Nations League final. Just awful luck after playing absolutely fantastic after the World Cup and looking great in the two Nations League games for the US.

He’s come on as a sub and played 20-30 min a few times for Dortmund this season, then played 45min in each of the two national break friendlies, so 70 minutes is a great next step up.

I’d say this was a real solid game from him. Making a good case for himself to start more often. Probably could have created more if JBG didn’t try to dribble though the opponent every single time he touched the ball, but oh well.

Thanks for the reply. I feel like I never caught wind of that injury. I noticed he was coming off the bench a lot. Glad to hear it is more of a “rehab” stint. I absolutely love him as a player ( I think his Dad is the greatest American ever as well) and agree that he looked very good and should be starting moving forward as he gets back into full form. Clearly was the playmaker today.

Holy shit no kidding about that guy dribbling with his head down! Rashford lite!
