Other Sports: Soccer/Football Thread Part Six

It's crazy how Chelsea are still struggling against 9 men. A smarter team would've put this game to bed a long time ago.

Mudryk SBC? Looks like you're not getting that upgrade. :sarcasm: @Starat327
I know a Chelsea player is never getting upgraded (unless they start awarding wins for xG?). I got him with the knowledge what you see is what you get.

Genuinely one of the worst performances by a team playing against 9 men I've seen.

Spurs barely beat Liverpool when they were down to 9 players, needed the refs to make that happen. Such is life in the Premiere League this season.

Chelsea have won the CL twice and the Europa once since Milan have even been in a European final.

Wishing about being in a competition is small club mentality befitting of Milan, though.
On the bright side they probably wouldn’t have had the guns to beat a 9 man side if they had to prepare for a midweek game this week.

What a shit show and yet somehow Eric f***ing Dier almost tied it down 2 men. Hopefully Romero only gets 1 game and hopefully Madison was taken out for precautionary reasons. Micky's looked bad. That one is going to hurt. He's been their best player in a lot of games this year. The whole season falls apart in 10 minutes. f***.

What an absolutely gross game. On many levels. I stopped watching after Udogie was sent off. I was working out on the bike while watching and there's no reason I have to suffer physically AND emotionally at the same time.

If van de Ven's injury is as bad as it looked Spurs are seriously screwed. And if Maddison's injury is even a little serious they're even more seriously screwed.

I hope de Vens injury isn't too severe. It looked a lot more "see you in April" than "see you after the international break" but I'm hoping for the best here.

First Man City game of the season tonight... and first since last December.

Only spent 5 days in England since early January... and they were in summer.

So looking forward to it even if a nothing game. And flying out again on Friday so no Prem games for me this time around.

I swear I try not to be a conspiracy theory guy, but man, its tough sometimes.

After getting demoted to the Championship for his poor performances in the PL, Anthony Taylor had this howler of a call to make himself the star of the game, as he does:

And now he gets promoted and jumps right back into... City v Chelsea this weekend?
