I had to manually tabulate this, and I'm not interested in doing it 30 more times. If NHL.com ever fixes their website I will let you know.

No, playing at a 66.5 pts pace does not seem pretty good.

So you're not going to actually see what a good pace would be.... but also, you'll say that a certain pace is bad.

Almost every team play their back-up goalie in one of back-to-back games. Usually, it's the second. A tired team with their back-up goalie playing against a fresh team with their starting goalie isn't going to have a great record.

Correct, I'm not going to look up & record 1800+ box scores. Feel free to do it yourself if it's that important to you.

Babcock and Dubas need to go. WE WILL NEVER GET OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND WITH THIS GROUP and that is if we even make the playoffs.

Not until everyone is healthy and he has a full team for ten game span , then the decision will be made
For the 10th time lol
If this continues after all of the above , it will happen before the new year

Next manager will still have bad contracts. Those will be dealt or all other signings will be problematic. Dubas messed up so bad it hurts.

I would say that this is a massive turnaround for Babcock. He opened the season telling our players "this is our year" and now it's "Oh you know...Yzerman took until he was 30 years old to figure it out". Stop moving the goal posts.

What Ovechkin said was totally accurate yesterday and it is on the coach and the players. I think the team and Babcock peaked in the 1st 7 game series vs Boston. Didn't like them last year and he probably should have been let go after the loss in the playoffs. The roster looks done with him.

This is also on Dubas....it can't literally just be speed and skill. You need the ability to play strong defense and can't be a bunch of wimps.

I also think the players need to buy in more. Forget about your stat line at the end of the year. Defense isn't sexy and it isn't fun but it f***ing wins.

He had a chance to stand up for his team today. Instead he just agreed with Ovi.

He hasn’t learned anything from last season. Just blame everyone else :shakehead
If Babs said something like "Ovi's won once and now he's an expert on what it takes?' I would of loved him for that and I'm sure most of his players too but instead he says Ovi's right. What a POS! When the players dont back each other look at the top.

Eakins was the top clown in that clown show.

Ralph Kruger had a less talented team playing very well....had he the chance to have McDavid, who knows what would have happened. Watch out for Buffalo because Kruger is a very, very good coach. He got fired on Skype by the Loilers and they suffered ever since.

Wasn't Scotty Bowman notorious for being hard on his team? The same guy who won 9 stanley cups as coach? I'm not comparing the two, but you don't have to "like" your coach in order to be successful .
It was a different time. Scotty a complete no BS coach. No discussion. You go fishing on blueline you sit rest of game and no questions asked. Even Lafleur got sat. It did not matter who you were. It is Babs but without the Babs speak. Babs tries to talk his way around things. Scotty did not. You sit period. There are zero excuses. I think it would be extremely difficult to coach like that in today's game. and if you bitched you got sent to minors no questions asked.

There will never be a time when everyone is healthy. I think it shows more about what the team really is when there is some adversity to handle, like injury.

It hardly sounds like he's deflecting too me...

right but that is hardly taking responsibility for anything that is wrong, he is just saying it hurts my feelings. Look at the end of last year when we were dumped out of the playoffs. Babs deflected every single criticism while dubas took the blame himself for a lot things that obviously aren't his fault

I guess you missed the part where he said "I'm supposed to get all this organized"...
