Makes me wonder what would happen if we had Cajkovic and our best centre Myklukha (not suited for todays game)
With Latkoczy instead of Hlavaj, you'd have earned a point for sure.

Byram handles the puck like hot potato in the D zone, Cozens is a classic grinder playing first line minutes for some unknown reason. Byfield... no one noticed him so far.
This roster does not have any close comparables to e.g. Zegras, Caulfield, or Podkolzin. Maybe Levi is a single bright spot. Semifinals is the ceiling.
That's also how I feel about Zegras. Very skilled player, but needs to keep it simple instead of going for the highlight reel pass every time.I thought McMichael had a terrific game. He does tend to be too cute, tho.
Especially when the game is on the line. That's also how I feel about Zegras. Very skilled player, but needs to keep it simple instead of going for the highlight reel pass every time.
Or Byfield. Really Canada has so many great talents not playing in this tournament, no wonder they look kinda unimpressive.Makes me wonder about if we had Owen Power and Alexis Lafreniere.
Edit; Or Kirby Dach.
Bahahaha. Ducks fans loving it. A couple of other teams kicking themselves. He went right where he belongs.![]()
Uhhh not sure if serious or making a good joke.Or Byfield. Really Canada has so many great talents not playing in this tournament, no wonder they look kinda unimpressive.

If I were coach I’d say “NO MORE F’IN VIDEO GAMES THE REST OF THE TOURNEY!”
These boys need. God dam fire lit under em. Especially the forwards.
Die any forward throw a single hit that entire game? We win when we hit and impose our will. Today’s game was the complete opposite.
TSN panel is far to light on these guys though I did miss Buttons comments. Love to here his comments, he holds nothing back. My fav analyst.
You are really being negative. It is too much, snipes.I swear to god if Byfield or Tomasino because I saw him do it a couple of times do that looping flyby with a pathetic stick check attempt rather than hitting the D man on the forecheck they should be benched for the remainder of the tournament.
That was a pond hockey type of forecheck and sickening to watch as a Canadian fan. These boys need a solid scolding after that effort.
Props to the Slovaks they battled their hearts out tonight, can’t say the same for the Canadian forwards.
On the flip side, I liked the way our D men played. Lots of big hits and shutdown chances as well they were solid on the breakout. Drysdale, Byram, Guhle, and Barron stood out as having very strong games. Levi was solid in net.
Our forwards need a smack upside the head and a talking to about what is expected of them on the forecheck.
Slow to pucks, and s bit soft too. Maybe the boys, after last game, thought it would come without sacrificing their bodies this game? What a pathetic effort by the forwards on the forecheck. One of the most games on the forecheck I’ve ever seen from a Canadian team, pathetic

Didn’t you guys barely beat a team Canada beat 16-2?Sure, we've seen them all coming to play tonight.
