this whole debacle started after they killed the penalty and it was 1-0. the whistle blew and instead of just skating off scheifele decides to go start something out of nothing. he skated out of his way to get into a pushing match then myers and everyone had to come in. completely pointless.

Somewhere nice
Our turn to slump - seen it coming and now it's official.
Penalties are the first sign.
This isn't a player or two - this is everyone.
This will need to run it's course - flippin the lines is more chaos - seen it tonight.
Coach needs to settle them down - not mix them up.

This will be a tough place to visit while we wait.

Flippin a line and then revert back to (after a few periods)

Schiefele Wheeler
Little Laine
Lowry Tanev

Thats chaos.

Let the new lines settle if flip.

Its obvious for so many games its not working current lines for the past month or so.

Good for me to misd this game though.

Jets still winning the cup.

So many important players simultaneously had awful games and this was the result. Worst I've seen Morrissey, Myers, and Trouba play in awhile. Wheeler and Scheif stayed where they've been for the past few games. Not a recipe for success.

This is the type of game that usually pushes a GM who might be unsure about making a deadline deal, further towards making one, rather than not.

Dorian is probably rubbing his hands together gleefully thinking he has Chevy over the ropes right now. Stanley Cup contender (supposedly) looking to capitalize on their opportunity before the rude awakening of the salary cap comes to bear next season. Dorian may yet get a King's ransom for Stone and/or Duschene and Chevy may be the buyer.

If Duchene doesn't go to Nashville, I'll eat my hat (I currently do not own a hat).

Chevy will stick to his plan and his price. He's not a panicky GM, thankfully.

If Chevy pulls any kind of deal for this sorry squad, he has to be clinically insane.
