Yep, I think the entire organization needs a new direction. The whole thing is stale.
Miss the playoffs and this has to happen and it starts with PLD, making a decision on Wheeler, convos with Scheifele and Helle on where their heads are at, moving 1or 2 of Schmidt, Pionk or Dillon are some moves that can happen, but it's starts at the top and Chevy has had his time a fresh set of eyes needs to take control and assess who stays and who goes.

For all the frustrating plays, terrible PP and some shaky play by Helle, they were still unlucky to lose. Most teams who tilt the ice that much win far more often then not. It’s just been a combination of no bounces, bad bounces, poor decisions and poor execution at crucial times. They need to bear down, stop bobbling pucks, stop missing nets, get on the right side of the puck along the wall and stop giving the puck up so cheaply at times.

Chevy is here along as he wants to be. A new gm doesn't make no trade or no move clauses to Winnipeg go away. Chevy should be in charge of a rebuild because he's proven they are good at drafting and thats how u build here, you ain't signing ufas. A new gm makes no difference to the players on the ice. The players are now the issue... and have been this whole time. Personality clashes are a thing

I feel it's 55 26 and 81 vs the rest of the room. Why? Call it a hunch. Actually think it's just 55 and 26 but I think KC is their boy. Heard rumors 55 only wants to play with KC.

I was in my usual seats 14 rows from the ice. Icing a 2nd line like tonight where is the scoring to come from . PP nope that stinks - grade A scoring chances nope shot those pucks wide. That’s is the worst game I have seen from #37 since NYE against the Isles 5+ years ago. Pretty disappointing season is shaping up.

Personality clashes have ruined many a sports dressing rooms and I feel this is likely what is and has been happening here
More like shitty goaltending. Helle stole half their wins and this is the real team without him being Vezina Helle.

Disagree, a GM determines the type of players the org drafts and acquires. They also choose the coaches, who determine the style of play, which one would hope would match the players brought in. They are also responsible for moving players who are a problem.
It’s not about UFA’s, it’s about setting a direction for the organization and making sure everyone is on the same page in following that plan. For as many good things Chevy has done, there were a lot of head scratching moves during the Maurice years and a couple more this year.
Chevy doesn’t have the market cornered on good drafting. Others are just as capable of selecting the right players. Besides, so far the players he’s acquired have accomplished essentially squat.

I hate putting players under the bus, but there are definitely ones who need to go.
I am okay with slumps like these, it really proves a point who really gives a shit on the ice.

There will be a day in the future where players want to be here.
I can't wait for the day.

We can complain, have hot takes etc. Our time will come, just not now. I'm okay with that.

But god damn, try harder. It's really noticable with some players I'm not going to mention. Feels like the same old habits are in every game these days.

Anyways,
I still love you Jets.

Didn't watch but this is getting ridiculous
I'm still pretty confident in making the playoffs but this team is in freefall right now

They are one of the worst teams since January and this same group pretty much collapsed and gave up when Paul quit last year. They are a divided group
I'm sure they aren't all buddies but I doubt that has anything to do with it. This team only goes as far as Helle takes them. That is your common denominator.

So why are they all still here? Chevy gambled on a new coach solving all his problems, even though they’ve been festering for years now. What’s that whole definition of insanity saying?
