Wow I wish the NHL would adapt to be able to restructure contracts. Wheeler would be first on my list. Maybe on some players contracts should be incentives, so they need to meet them to be paid their contracts, IE need to score 25 goals or get 30 assists or whatever the case may be.

Scheif reeeeeally looks like he doesn't want to be here. With that said, as a professional you should put your feelings aside and put your best foot forward every night, and I don't think that is happening. Ducky would be really disappointed.
Scheifele has been one of our best players this year. Though maybe we should move him do he has a chance at team success.

This bunch?

4 top 6 forwards

4 fourth liners

4 AHL’rs

1 second paring D man

5 bottom pairing D men

a now struggling disinterested former Vezina netminder

a used coach

a dithering impotent GM

Welcome to the Winnipeg Jets World!

And cynical... obtuse Jets fans...

And poor internet...

Snow banks...

Arctic winds...

Now, soon... pot holes...

That sounds a lot like what you said above...

Misery finds company...

Ppl just repeating the same stuff but the effort was there from most guys tonight. Tonight's not a game where you can really question their effort or compete or passion as 55 was visibly pissed after his blunder... imo our best players tonight were Nino vladdy nik Lowry apple Barron and Gus. Seems usual suspects to me. These guys do tend to show up but if 55 81 and 26 don't show up, this is what happens. Especially 81 who appears to just be over thinking it out there

Like I said in the GDT, team would rather lose 4 2 and score 2 pretty goals than win 5 4 and score 3 Gritty ones

I have no problem with the contract. Wheeler was great for us for so many years, was loyal, and that contract was his reward, and it was well earned. Nothing will change that.

My issue is that Wheeler should be on a 3rd or 4th line at this point in his career as he just doesn't have the, well, 'wheels' he used to. He's getting consistently outworked by his opponents on the majority of plays.

It isn't helping.

Don't worry, I full well expect them to run the table on the rest of their games. Playoffs here we come.

They needed 2-2-1 in the next 6 games. This was the one pointer at least. Now they have to sweep Florida and steal a point from one of the banks, TD or RBC

PLD appears over rated to me. Good start. No show when it matters and now hurt. Honestly pld appears to be the Chychrun of forwards. Ppl want him to be something he's not and never will be so bad
