Just glad there is no skills competition in the playoffs (if and when we make it). Good Game though! Captain Dion with two brainfarts and that end up in our net and one more brainfart in the OT when it coudl have been 3 on 2 taking the offside. way to go Captain.

But would give you props for going after Chara, Dion.

Kadri out muscling Chara in the OT priceless. Kessel you hello kitty panty wearing pansy. Learn from the kid show some heart dude.

If not with muscle at least with speed then jeez do something. JVR what you doing? I blame JVR slowdown on Bozak. Bozak always looking for Kessel JVR is like wtf am I extra baggage on the line?

Anyway will take the point and look for kitty kats tomorrow.
I lol ty

I'll give Bozak props for being the only player on our team that can score in a shootout, But I really don't get Carlyle's decision making for SO. Why put Kule ahead of Lupul? Everyone knows Kule only has 1 move which he had already used in the game, you think a goalie like Rask would be dumb enough to fall for the same trick twice?

These past 2 games are also a big reason why we need an upgrade on Bozak for the 1st line. I mean c'mon, 4 shots in the past 2 games combined...pathetic! Kessel hasn't been terrific, but a good center would at least be able to create some space for him. The line's problems also fall to JVR, where in the hell has he been the past 10 games, I've literally never noticed him in any of the games until someone pointed out how unnoticeable he was. People rag on Grabo, but WTF JVR, there's going invisible and then there's what JVR is doing.

Like Seguin, I also had 0g, 0a, 0pts, 0hits, 0shots. Though Seguin was a -1, and I was an even. I should get 2nd star with those numbers

^^^ I laughed. I wanted Leafs to concentrate on Seguin as it seems behind him not many Bruins can score at the moment. I said to my buds that we should let other bruins beat us, but stop Seguin at any cost. They completely shut-down him. So, good job, Leafs!
I guess Bruins playoffs will be quite short if only player that scores there is Seguin.

First of all, my entire post was removed by a mod.

Secondly, the only reason I removed the content of you post was to save space, it was mostly censored and because I wasn't addressing certain parts of it but instead the entire thing.

Third, I've been drinking too, fair enough. I just hate to see us argue amongst ourselves instead of just discussing hockey. That's why we're all here isn't it? Not to just throw out things we pretend are facts, but to have honest, clean hockey related debate. Everyone just overreacts to every single thing instead of just making a valid point that leads to discussion of the matter.

Anyways, the post got removed so whatever.

Well we`ve both been drinking then...... I call a truce and will in offering to you finish my beer and crack another

So bozak is our shootout specialist . I would like them to try gardinier or phanuef in shootout

They already tried Phaneuf and he looked like an idiot out there :P lol

Although at this point in time, why not try something new? Kadri hasn't scored on all of his 4 attempts this year

Kessel/JVR benching will aid the team tomorrow.

Throw in Blacker and Frattin and this team is no worse for wear.

Against TOUGH teams, these 2 guys are NO SHOWS. Thats one thing u can count on. Thats why Philly traded that big winger who can skate. How valuble is JVR to a team when he doesnt show up 50% of the time? Where has he been the last 10 games?

Kessel is scared out of his mind against the Bruins. It makes me sick watching him. I want KEssel gone at the Deadline, his effort in my opinion could ruin team chemistry. He shuts it down and his team-mates know it. Same with Phaneuf. He should have had a Bruins jersey on for that last goal. He just watched, didnt care.

Tomorrows game in Florida is the 7th game in 10 nights... wow. Their going to be dead...

Leafs are paying their dues right now which is why I'm fine with the loser points they're accumulating because those points come in handy when you have a tight schedule. It's better than a team like the Canes who will have a jam packed April.

Definitely down for this, my apologies if I was rude!

I hate the negativity and exaggeration from this forum just as much as you my friend. I usually avoid PGT but it's nice to get some good hockey talk going when you can.

Ondrej Pavelec says hello. Reimer had a .931 tonight and has a .918 on the year.

You guys are cray sometimes.

I find it ridiculous when fans always blame the goalie for a loss. Sure, Reimer hasn't played 100% throughout the season (but who does?). However, he has been playing very well including tonight. If it wasn't for Reimer, I bet the score would have been very different.

good effort. better than saturday's game.....but they can still do better than that.

Too bad that all three of Jake, Dion, and Reimer fell asleep on that tying goal.

I thought Gunnar and Kostka were absolute rocks back there, with and without the puck. great to see.

Fraser is really starting to struggle to keep up, though.

And Jake is a difference maker out there, even if he spent too long in the AHL and is now struggling at times to adjust to NHL speed.

And Reimer was great, again. Someday this kid will start getting some respect as a quality goalie.

and JVR has to wake the hell up.

Hopefully no let down tommorrow against the worst team in the league....we gotta close it out tommorrow.

Not trying to hate on Seguin or anything, but how in the hell was he named third star?? Even more puzzlng is that the stats people didn't mess up. He was 0 across the board except for the shootout so how did he get the look above Lucic who played a solid game after getting that monkey off his back or even Reimer who played really well tonight? Ridiculous.
