SJSharks lines this AM -- 8-19-82, 12-39-42, 57-48-83, 18-50-13. Looks like Goldobin gets shot on top line

Ward seems set on stone on that 2nd line, hopefully it works out. Wouldn't mind a trial of others there, but I prefer him to Hertl playing wing on the line.

Mike Brown is still on the roster. I wouldn't also be surprised if the "Burns back to forward debate" starts again. Also, some people here have some irrational hatred of Dillon.

I'm betting on Dillon. The same people who hated Demers will now hate Dillon and talk about how horrible the trade was.

I really really hope they sent Mueller back and start with Dillon-Tennyson. But I do see that as an unlikely scenario.

The Dillon-Tennyson pairing was one of the bright spots last season, but then Hannan got healthy and that was the end of that. I sadly also agree that seeing the scenario you outlined is indeed unlikely.

I don't quite get the fascination with Tennyson. He has good size and has good speed. He has lateral mobility issues, makes dumb plays, is fairly soft, and outside of his hard shot, doesn't have any notable offensive skills. I don't think I've quite forgiven his atrocious 2014 season (in Worcester).

He had 8 points in 27 games last season, which wasn't too shabby all things considered. Also, being paired with Dillon helps cover up some of the legitimate critiques you have, after all, there are no perfect players, and that's where chemistry is important.

Am I the only one who wants Mueller to suck tonight so it's Tennyson & Demelo fighting it out?

I really want Dillon the left side and also want Mueller to develop as a top pairing dman. He'll only get that chance playing top pairing minutes in the AHL.

Tennyson gets love because he was a mobile d man when we were sticking Hannan in the back. I think it's hyperbole that he makes dumb plays and is soft but he's no better than #6. It's just a great spot for him. Limited minutes, puck mover, can step up on 2nd pp unit on a pinch and has a good point shot. Who do we have that's better in that slot?

I think demelo has looked better though and would like to see them fight it out.
