What does your lineup look like for opening night?

It's hard to tell right now.

Only one F line has been together all through camp & pre-season and that's Marleau-Couture-Ward. Thornton & Pavelski will also remain together.

The rest of the line up is going to depend on the health (& ability to play) of Torres & when Karlsson will be back.

I get the impression that DeBoer won't be at all shy about regularly changing his F lines.

The D seems set as:
Vlasic-Braun
Martin-Burns
Dillon-DeMelo
Tennyson

Jones will get a lot of starts.

My answer before camp started. Donskoi has definitely climbed the depth chart onto the roster.

McLaren on waivers today.

ANA's Friberg is an interesting name on the waiver wire today, I wouldn't be too surprised if someone (not SJ) claimed him.

Meier has been sent to Halifax.

With McLaren heading to the Barracuda tomorrow they have (at least) 3 cuts to go...my guess is it'll be Goldobin, Goodrow & Mueller.

That seems like a pretty clear indication that he's there. Why do the Sharks have him on their updated roster then? Weird.

McLaren will be assigned to the Barracuda tomorrow & Meier has been cut (they'll announce it eventually) so they only have 2 more cuts to make up front & one on defense.

That lists 18 with Meier so 17.

Take out McLaren, Goodrow and Goldobin and we're down to 14.

I'd say Mueller gets cut and we're down to 7 dmen.

That's what I think will happen.

Same here. A line of Wingels/Hertl/Nieto - or - Hertl/Tierney/Wingels/Nieto - should feast, in theory.

I think DeBoer just wants Nieto, Donskoi and/or Tierney to earn a PP spot. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm fine with PP time being given based on merit. I just don't like the current default setting. Need more offensive ability on that unit.

I'd swap Martin for Vlasic.
