I always here this and think "Thank god the team isn't run by these people". Fact is that in a smaller market, the business relies on Bandwagon fans.

But no one is remotely close to McDavid or Matthews in the coming drafts.

Dahlen will be an excellent #1D if he is as good as the hype. But he is not the type of prospect that draws a crowd like McDavid.

Outside of the hammer trade. They don't really save any cap. They still need to remove like 1.4 million before season starts.

I like that arizona, edmonton etc are pushing forward as itll force DW to make some moves.

How much does sharks activity depend on marleau and Thornton?

Its possible that he hasnt even extended an offer to them until he knows what deals he can get done.

We need fire power. Galchenyuk, duchene, landeskog to some extent, radulov but that contract would kill us, neal would be a strong get but inter division now, who else?

And on top of that who is realistically available for trade

Boedker, ward, braun, martin, dillon, hansen, tierney

Prospects, cant imagine labanc or meier are available so...not much of value.

We have some okay picks this year.

All in all its hard to see us competing in the market for a big splash. Vets, middle sixers, and some average picks.

Scandella is being shopped, would be a good Schlemko replacement. Wild would have to retain though. his $4M AAC is steep.
