Lol it's really nothing. Sheng said he wanted to reach out to him to check out, so it wasn't unprompted. Why am I more worried after seeing that article? It’s like when someone comes up to you completely unprompted and says “Nothing’s wrong!”.

I figured as much. It was just funny to see that headline come out of nowhere.Lol it's really nothing. Sheng said he wanted to reach out to him to check out, so it wasn't unprompted.
He’s the Erik Karlsson of Cale MakarsAdd a goal and two apples to Luca Cagnonis WHL-D-Leading point-total (+3 in a 10-2 win, 2nd in PPG for D-men)
Frozen Four final is on April 13thWhen does the NCAA finish? I know it is before the end of the NHL season as there is always like a free agent frenzy near the end of the year to lock up unsigned NCAA players
So, Sharks really need to make it deep in the playoffs this year to make sure Will Smith gets a taste of real hockey this year? I kid, I kid.Frozen Four final is on April 13th

But players are available to sign as soon as their college season is over. That often starts in early-mid March.Frozen Four final is on April 13th
He is another guy where you wonder if he might be NHL-ready...certainly seems too good for juniors. That being said, it appears like there are still things he could work on.Cagnoni is killing it...
I imagine the step up to defending fully grown men is going to be a challenge for him. I agree that another year in juniors isn't likely to help him enough in that regard, but I'm sure there's still defensive techniques and such that he can work on. He seems like he'll need time with the Barracuda, and we won't really know what we've got on our hands until we see him there. He is another guy where you wonder if he might be NHL-ready...certainly seems too good for juniors. Is he driving play or just getting a lot of ice time on a dominant team?He is another guy where you wonder if he might be NHL-ready...certainly seems too good for juniors. That being said, it appears like there are still things he could work on.
He is.Cagnoni is AHL-eligible next year, I think.
Yeah, I was being a little coy. My point is that he doesn’t have the same “too good for the CHL, maybe not NHL-ready, what do we do with him?” conundrum that we have with Musty. He is.
Oh, great. If he can come in and start producing in the AHL, the Sharks will know they have a top-4 guy on their hands. Or, he can come in and start tearing the league apart, and the Sharks have a future #1 guy!He is.
He's like 4ft 3Is he driving play or just getting a lot of ice time on a dominant team?
I’m inclined to say that he isn’t the one driving his point totals. He was a late round pick for a reason he is not “too good” for the WHL.

He probably rides a boar to the rink.Luca Cagnoni of the Iron Hill Dwarves
He super fell though, he was considered a 2nd round talent at least by most scouts I read. I think it’s obviously his height that made him drop but maybe Muhk can carry him in his hand like an Ent all game.Is he driving play or just getting a lot of ice time on a dominant team?

I think he just has fewer pathways to NHL success. Due to his size, he's never going to be anything special defensively, so if his offensive game doesn't translate, he doesn't have an NHL future. And, only top point-producers can be downright bad defensively...He super fell though, he was considered a 2nd round talent at least by most scouts I read. That seems like the obvious ceiling. If his offense translates to the pro game and he can improve his defensive game a little...Here’s hoping we got a little Boyle.
