At the moment who is the competition for that spot, Amadio & Bishop are AHL players or bottom six centres, DJ is reluctant to try Paul at centre, L. Brown is perpetually injured, Stutzle is a smaller centre & I have yet to see him take a faceoff, Tierny is on his way out & C. White looks more comfortable as a 3rd line centre. The only one who might beat him out is Beniers if they draft him & he might be a couple of yrs away & let's not forget although older Pinto was one of the best players in the WJC & in the NCAA last yr. He's no slouch at centre or on RW, but my hope is that L. Brown eventually snaps out of it & becomes this team's top centre.

The Athlet8ic just did a piece on him, by Scott Wheeler. It is part of the "Gifted" series where he breaks down players with dozens of clips, and goes through every detail of their game. Past players on this list from 2017 include Abramov, Chlapik, Kaprizov, etc...neat to see which ones hit and which ones were misses. In fact, watching the Abramov one again was a great reminder that he is going to be good!
Did Mike Commodore ever wear 64? I don't think he did. In any case he didn't when he was in Ottawa.

Never did at the NHL level unless it was just a training camp number. Mostly stuck with 22 and 2, but also wore 23, 6, and 44.

Based on JBD's debut I am guessing Pinto comes in and sorts it out pretty quickly.

I really like him with Formenton tonight, ideally that should be 2 3rds of our 3rd line for the next 5-10 years.

He ain’t goin anywhere. Looks like a better skating Stone, with those pick plays, that plays centre. To me, he’s the ideal centre for Tkachuk. We should try them together at some point soon.

Sounds like his debut was solid. I missed the game. He didn't play a ton, understandable in his first game. How did he look out there?
