His hockey sense is excellent. He looks like he’s going to be a force at both ends of the ice.

Trent Mann is very good at his job, we are lucky to have him.
A f***ing men (or...mann)

We are lucky, but even more lucky is Pierre Dorion.

Glad we haven't had to trade our prospects for magic beans. It's enjoyable to see them develop into top level players

I feel kind of bad for Pinto.

Because he is never going to experience the exciting nightlife in Belleville, Ontario.

It's funny I was listening to Spittin Chicklets and they were talking about how much the AHL can be a step down from US college hockey. Just the quality of the facilities of some of those schools and the atmosphere is hard to beat.

Pinto could definitely develop into a 2nd line guy.

I'm not sure he has the playmaking to be a top 6 C at the NHL level. And do you really wanna waste his defense and face-offs on the wing?

Ideally, though, we have a really strong second and third line, and it doesn't really matter.

Lol it’s his first game and you’re already pegging him as a 3rd liner

That was one of the most impressive first games for a Sens rookie I can remember

multiple takeaways/interceptions, great defensive positioning, good on draws. And
Had a couple shot attempts as well. Give or take 10 mins of ice time too.

I think 60Point elite 2-way Center is his limit. I would be thrilled if he reaches that.

Realistically he is a stronger, faster version of Turris
I’ll go with stone as a centre with slightly less offensive skill. So yeah 60 pts is fair as a max. But if he was that good defensively already then I’m excited to see how good he can get in that aspect

Very nice debut, Ottawa definitely has another top six centre in this guy & along with Norris could have two very good centres.
Two solid two way centers in Norris and Pinto. And in a similar fashion, could even say three with White (who's ceiling seems to be more of a shutdown PK specialist center that can chip in 40 pts).
If only Brown could have actually become even half of what we thought he might be.

Set expectations low and if he surpasses them you’re thrilled, if he reaches them, you’re thrilled, if he doesn’t meet them, who cares? he was only a projected 3rd line C anyway.
