Willy had his best game yet.
JT has been f***ing invisible and it's pissing me off.
If Auston can just get ONE, I feel like they'll keep coming. He's had some great looks, but Bob has made better saves.
Finally, people who think what Bennett did to Knies is completely normal and fine are off their f***ing rocker.

the way they targeted knies is pathetic. tkachuk elbowed him in the head. bennett does a wwf move on him.

but even more pathetic the lack of any response from the leafs

He has, but he still only has 1 5v5 goal while Tavares has 3. When 2 of our best wingers and core players only have a combined 2 5v5 goals in 8 games and both of them came in a blowout win in Game 2 vs TB it's just not good enough. Jarnkrok is another guy that needs to step up. 20 goal scorer and you forget he's even playing on this team these playoffs. 1 goal in a blowout loss Game 1 vs TB.
Two of Tavares' were in the blowout, and the third was a lucky bounce off a defenceman's skate. But my point was that you said 'top paid players'. In the last 6 games Matthews and Tavares have one goal each and Marner and Nylander have none, but why is the #5 paid blamed as much as the three who each make at least #4M more?

The three 'top paid players' who have more points than Nylander are also averaging about 5 minutes per game more ice time, and are all on the first PP while he is on the second.

Well that was less good then game 1. But not by much. This penance for giving up momentum changing goals has to stop. Sammy has to have that third goal. Got jumped early second and lost. Better team frigging most of it but there it was.

Simple I guess, go take 2 of 2 in Florida.
I mean, we aren't getting killed here. Close game. Lousy 2nd.

i had a rough evening and week so this loss doesn't even faze me.

**nsfw**tmi**

had sex on sunday and tore my foreskin. got it circumcised on tuesday, was put under general anesthesia. had to remove bandage today in shower during third period. goodness. painful and traumatic.

i think it's ok now though. but my goodness. what a f***ing week.
I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy lol… thankfully you’re feeling better now.

I tore my frenulum about a year back. One of the worst things I’ve ever experienced. Started my days off in pain

I like his response actually...who gives a crap about Bob...he needs to play his game...what did the reporter expect by asking him that question after a frustrating loss?
Childish, just own up to that u need to be much better. And that the opponent are outplaying u. He can say fck and pssy as much as he want. Aint making him cool, just childish. Show that u can stand for yourself on ice, until then, fck the shut up!

That said i dont blame this loss on him. He should have saved one of the goals. The forwards should have made at least 2more goals. So team fail.

I’m confused, is the swearing part or his whole response the childish part in your eyes?

Imo he knew he wasn’t good enough and was pissed at himself, it may have come out like he didn’t care about bob, it probably was because he was focused on his game

He wasn't asked how he felt he played. If the reporter wanted Samsonov to praise Bobrovsky, he didn't get it, and I'm glad Samsonov didn't give it. If the rest of the team showed this kind of anger, they would have jumped Bennett after what he did to Knies.

That ain’t cool man, gotta give credit to a countryman
I don’t think he feels that good about being outplayed, his response might come across as a bit of an ass response, but he probably was frustrated

Ferlings and anger are welcome. I just want the players to be bigger and stronger mentaly to not jump at bait like that.

The best thing you can pull out of these 2 games is it wasn't like 2 games where you lost like 7-1. We were in both games just self inflicted wounds put us in a hole. Now to comeback its going to take some better performances but it's far from impossible.

2nd goal was inexusable no matter how you play
He gave up a back breaker in game 3 against tampa
Every game he has given up one soft goal. Every game is always the one that kills the momentum

He's job is to weather the storm, find way to keep the team intact until they find their gear
Same as Campbell, same as Andersen. This has been going on since Bernier/Reimer. Shanahan needs to take some of the blame, the Leafs haven't had a clutch starting goalie the entire time he's been leading this organization.

Finally, people who think what Bennett did to Knies is completely normal and fine are off their f***ing rocker.

Bennett's a menace out there with a predatory history and suspensions in the past for headshots, boarding, etc. He's a tough guy with a mustache.

@pnep probably knows the answer...

I've gave it to the others many times in the past. I've mentioned these 2 because they aren't scoring and they gave the puck away in a bad spot which lead to the 2 goals that beat us today. Matthews needs to stop going off the scouting report from the Bruins series that Bob is weak blocker side because he's shooting every good chance he gets blocker side and it's getting saved. Just needs to shoot wherever the hell he wants and trust his shot.

So odd that losing the first two gives you a better chance to win the series. I guess that would be the strength of the team with home ice coming into play historically.

The series has basically entered lost cause territory now, but I guess now you just try to win one period at a time and just forget about the big picture dynamics. Hope to emerge from Florida in a better position.
