I suppose if you think Sammy will give you shaky to poor goaltending, and Woll could give us a fresh look it might be worthwhile. But the series will really depend on what the offense does against Florida so maybe it's a galaxy brain thought in the end.

Not trying to shit on Marner but I did notice when his line got the puck below the goal line that Marner would sit around the hashmarks with 2-3 Panther players in front of him, hoping that Matthews/Bunting/a d-man would find a passing seam, instead of just going to the front of the net to try and open space.

But watching them the past 2 games has me feeling pessimistic. Think coming home down 3-1 might be a semi success in and of itself, and you're just happy to have a chance to sort things out for a Game 5. Finally win one at home and you just take it one game at a time in the underdog role. But I'm spending more energy tying this up than the whole team did to start the second period so might just have to sleep on it.

Totally agree in theory but can’t help but think we need to win both in Florida. Coming home 3-1…maybe we take Game 5, but I don’t feel confident them winning the series if that’s the case.

Yeah, watching with casuals Willy seems to get shit on more than anyone else. I'm far from a big Nylander fan, but I'd question roster construct before the players. Willy is a flawed played, but he's someone you gamble on his ability generate chances outweighs his ability to be clinical. To be honest the biggest mistake I saw was on 34 being cute. But pre-conceived notions are a muthf***a.

There’s nothing different in our goaltending this year compared to the last 6 years

Each and everyone of those goalies have done the same thing, we would’ve won round 1 in exactly 6 games with all of them

Samsonov is nothing different.

Funnily enough dubas has tried some different options. The established 1-A looking to take the starter jump in Andersen. The back-up out of seemingly nowhere approach with Campbell. The reclamation project in Samsonov, and even the “proven” winner in Murray. I won’t even mention the tank commander mrazek. All have failed
