yes.

bro. we hit 4 posts and DOMINATED in the 3rd.

one of those posts goes in the series is 1-1 and we'd be saying leafs in 5 because they were FLYing out ther

seriously.
Thats my point

your talking about the third. Im talking about the game as a whole.

THEY SHOULDNT HAVE NEEDED TO PLAY DESPERATION in the final minutes..

AND IF THEY DID... they should have played like that for a full 60. They almost got scored on at the end of the first AGAIN. They take shifts off and have completely forgotten about how they were successful the round before.

I am mad because this team has so much more to give.

If they lose this series, there's going to be a lot of talk this summer about how they completely abandoned the basic, fundamental plays that got them by Tampa. Screen the goalie, pucks on net, pucks safely put of the zone, etc.

There's way more space out there and the pace is much higher than it was against Tampa. They guys are getting caught up in it. Not only making mistakes, but overthinking plays and trying to pass the puck into the net.

The "Getting Goalied" narrative is only partly true. They create these problems with soft, cutsie plays. It doesn't work in the playoffs.

That Barkov goal was so deflating. Absolute baker breaker. I get physically ill after that went in. Hard to come back from that. A goalie needs to shut the door for their team. Especially with Bobrovsky playing spectacularly at the other end.

Series isn't over. Adjust and get the next one in FLA and we've got a series.

Hoping Keefe will replace Gio with Gus. Gio's legs are shot. He can't cope with the pace of play in this series. Also, Matthews-Nylandet and Tavares-Marner pairings again please.

I don't get it with these fools. If the playoffs were a 400 m race and you just need to consistently pace yourself with a little burst at the end, this team seems to think it can no show at the start, grab a snack during the race and then run at a 100 m dash pace and see what happens. The mentality is just bonkers.
Both of these teams have fared much better on the road thus far in these playoffs. Have to hope that pattern continues for now, and really have to hope that the Leafs can manage to impress the SBA faithful at some point.

How much have the Leafs really tested Bobrovsky? With insanely high actual puck possession time along with total dominance in the faceoff circle really they should have had 50 shots on goal. Still lots of decisions to stay in the perimeter with the pressure in the offensive zone. I'm not seeing players like Marner, Nylander and Matthews acting like they really want this. And I don't even think Florida are playing an intense series thus far.

Goes back to Tampa series. Tampa played like shit if you ask me, yet outplayed us. If Vasi plays even average that series we would have got swept.

That's with Hedman and Point hurt and Bunting knocking out Cernak in addition to Vasi looking like Campbell and we were still out played.

We stand no chance winning the cup this season if they don't do a 180

What was wrong with Colton? He kicked a** everywhere, entertained us to no end, and left everything on the ice. Respect.

These gutless pukes give us what? Let your new rookie college boy get literally ragdolled with no repercussions? $40M that can't score much less fight?
Don’t shit on Colton Orr, pure warrior!!

I watched all of the FLA/BOS series, and that was exactly how they won. Boston actually had the puck most of the time, Florida just didn't look all that good but they scored timely goals.

The McCabe and Brodie pairing haven't been great together either.

McCabe -5 and Brodie -4 in two games.
I know it's kind of faux pas to say, but I don't actually think we've got a good defense.

I like Morgan. I like Schenn as a 6 (bless him he's doing great as the 4). I like McCabe as a 5. I like Brodie as a 4.

So we're missing a 1 and 2 (or 3) in my opinion.

At some point you have to stand up for your team mates or you will get pushed around non stop. That is something this core has never learned and never will. Bunch of cowards
ok so say if they injure a guy in response and take a penalty and then get scored on and lose is that good?
