As much as I would not pay 88 9+m he was dynamite in the 3rd.

Dynamite would have been doing all that and scoring the game tying goal. Results matter. Not going to pin the loss on Nylander at all, but we're way past "trying" as the bar for him.

I feel like we're missing a couple of offensive elements when I watched them push. A credible and confident point shot to pull a defender out towards the blueline or make the Panthers think about the shot block option. And secondly, a crafty Palat-type guy who can make a heads up pass to glue together some of the chaos that was happening. For all the super creative playmaking Marner does, he seems to be a guy who thrives on the small area plays but sometimes you want a simple playmaker to distribute it to the right guy in the right spot with the correct handed shot if that makes sense.

We need 34 to score PP goals like Draisaitl. That MFer steps up in the playoffs and anybody who says he leeches of 97 can GFO.

Has everyone's balls fallen off or something? Terrible? Shameful? Tear it down? At our best we were skating circles around them and at our worst we played even. Puck didn't go in the net. Take a walk. There are mental wards less histrionic than this place.

We fluked out at a serious win against Tampa where we got outplayed despite them missing Cernak and having a seriously compromised Hedman and by his own admission a worn out and subpar Vasi.

Now we're down 2-0 to a team that barely squeaked into the playoffs and only beat Boston because Ulmark was seriously compromised and Bergeron and Krejcis age and miles caught up to them and they were non factors.

Toronto can obviously still win this series and I hope they do, but with the way they've looked and with their past history it's completely reasonable to be extremely concerned about this team's future.

The skaters pissed themselves for the rest of the period, and our two superstar forwards combined to give the opponent a chance the could not miss.

Should Sammy have stopped the Barkov shot, yes. Was it the reason we lost? Not by a long shot (pun intended).

Secondly, both teams choked completely. Game 6 was a full on choke by Boston rivaling leafs of the past. Game 7 might’ve pushed past all of them

No goalie goes from being a .905 to a .935, the shooters have to figure that out.

Moreover, apart from this years vasi, every goalie has done something similar like that to us or someone else. Rask, korpisalo, merzlikins, price. Each and every one of them.

When bob plays either the devils or canes he’s gonna be exposed. Either the devils speed or the canes pressure and gritty game. Both will A) use their skill to actually score and not shoot at the goalie, or B) get infront of his eyes

They'd get goalied by David Ayers. IT doesn't matter who the goalie on the other side is. The 40M forwards just need to finish, full stop. Our whole team is built around those guys.

That is the bottom line when your $40 mil forwards don't contribute you're more than likely going to lose the game.

I feel as though they'll essentially have to repeat the Round 1 magic of winning both Games 3 and 4 on the road now. It can be done, but...

I don't get it with these fools. If the playoffs were a 400 m race and you just need to consistently pace yourself with a little burst at the end, this team seems to think it can no show at the start, grab a snack during the race and then run at a 100 m dash pace and see what happens. The mentality is just bonkers.
