It seems the opposite is happening to us this series. We dominate most of the game and the scoreboard still shows we lost. It's like the reverse Tampa series. We aren't getting timely saves and they are. Now we have a 2 goal lead and we are the ones who lose the lead.

Baffling is the word the comes to mind. I'm less worried about being down 0-2 to Florida then I would be to Boston/Tampa/Hurricanes, but the zero adjustments through two games has me worried.

Toronto played well to win probably both of these games, but the fact they keep letting FLA score off of nothing but turnovers and a forecheck and haven't adjusted to it is worrisome.

If you can't win a game like that 2-1 or 2-0 then you're not going to win the cup.

Leafs "fluked" their way into 2nd round. Look at SV% of Samsonov in series against bolts. If Vasy had even an average goal tending Leafs would have been done in round 1

We need 34 to score PP goals like Draisaitl. That MFer steps up in the playoffs and anybody who says he leeches of 97 can GFO.

Successful or not, Draisaitl just has a very consistent and seemingly sociopathic desire to score goals. He doesn't give a crap about Selke level play, the regular season or the playoffs. Doesn't get goalied. Doesn't care. He just scores like a machine, win or lose.

Matthews got a lot of flowers for his big Game 4 moment putting the team on his back to come back and win on the road. Absolutely deserves them too. But Draisaitl does this every single night.

Secondly, both teams choked completely. Game 6 was a full on choke by Boston rivaling leafs of the past. Game 7 might’ve pushed past all of them

No goalie goes from being a .905 to a .935, the shooters have to figure that out.

Moreover, apart from this years vasi, every goalie has done something similar like that to us or someone else. Rask, korpisalo, merzlikins, price. Each and every one of them.

When bob plays either the devils or canes he’s gonna be exposed. Either the devils speed or the canes pressure and gritty game. Both will A) use their skill to actually score and not shoot at the goalie, or B) get infront of his eyes

They aren't by us yet but if they do I'm giving them a chance next round.
