The McCabe and Brodie pairing haven't been great together either.

McCabe -5 and Brodie -4 in two games.

Is it possible to get a hypnotist into the dressing room and convince the players on their way out for the first period that it's actually halfway through the third and they're down by two goals?

what intensity from tampa series lol. Tampa outplayed us badly.

When I asked for more clutch, it was IN ADDITION to playing well. Not in exchange to playing well.
They did had intensity, usually around the 10mins mark of the 3rd and during OT

Nylander did and backhanded it off the top of Bob's pad. It would've been a goal if he'd raised it a bit higher. That was far from the only in-tight chance.

There were in close chances yes, but I am saying why can't the Leaf player with the puck simply make a bee line straight to the net like McDavid does at least 20 times a game.
Get Babrovski and the Florida defence off their game.
Storm the net.

Knies choke-slammed and down for the three count. He finally skated off alone past a smirking Panthers bench.

Nice team you assembled, Kyle. Still each man for himself, as you so designed it.
I dunno how many Leafs players saw what happened there. The ref was looking right at it. If he didn't want to call the hold or high stick, the choke-slam was definitely worthy.

Calling trips and slashes, but plays that can end a guys career, nah, play on.

Leafs are losing pretty much the same way Boston did, just a bit sooner…maybe that’ll be a good thing in the long run and they can correct and identify mistakes early? Gonna be tough. Everyone underestimated the cats, including me and I said Bruins in 6 not a sweep or even gentlemen’s like a lot of cocky fans or neutral fans interested did.

If this team has a hope of winning the leafs fan base needs to collectively yell at to all it may concern: take the body and the puck all at once.

Bruins played at the end of their sticks constantly and it lead to turn overs, panthers have capitalized on more turn overs than any other team these playoffs
To be fair, I don't think the Leafs are underestimating the Panthers are all. They're absolutely peppering the Panthers goal and making stupid defensive mistakes.

I don't see the Leafs taking them lightly anywhere.

I feel as though they'll essentially have to repeat the Round 1 magic of winning both Games 3 and 4 on the road now. It can be done, but...
