What’s up Salavat - the red uniforms ? Alternate jerseys or ?
It is retro jerseys. Based on ones that were used in 70's.

Shakir Mukhamadullin #85 white jersey vs SKA. 03 sept 2022 all actions. good and bad. +Bardakov/Khmelevsky fight

I will not make special video for Bardakov, but he was very fun and agressive.

Former NJ Devils great Ryan Murphy led the Ufa defense in ice time and had an assist.

We traded for Murph in January 30, 2019. He played 23 games in Bing and 1 in NJ.

Putting the politics of NA signing with the KHL aside, Murphy has 285 AHL games and 175 NHL games under his belt and was a 12th pick in 2011 draft. He’s a good teammate for Shakir to have. (Other than he might drink his milkshake on the PP.) @Guadana do you have special team TOI for the KHL? That would be cool to have. (That’s true about the AHL and other leagues as well, but what can ya do.)

And Josh Ho-Sang is on the team too.

Ho-Sang is very fun to watch. He isn`t good 200 foot player but he is very dynamic. He makes a lot of mistakes and lose the puck, but... fun to watch. I`m happy I`m not Ufa fan.

Murphy is very playmaking\offensive oriented.

I don`t have that kind of stats. Shaq played as second pair defenseman 5 on 5/in PP/in PK. Played 3 on 5. Was one of only three defensemen who played in OT.

BTW Nikolayev, undrafted SKA goalie was very good. He is athletic, fast and even acrobatic sometimes. Should watch more to understand how good he is in positioning... but overall goalies is not my thing. I just like his results and athletism for his age. Hope Devils will make some calls. I did talk about him before.

Thanks for sharing. He looks like a mature defender in the KHL. Not bad for a young player. He’s mobile and has solid passing touch and can transition the puck. He will have to pick up his pace but he should have a much better idea of what the North American game requires after his playoff visit. I’m hopeful he can continue to fill out his frame and work on his quickness.

Most of all he was criticized for playing with the puck in defensive zone under pressure. Now he is really good with that. He was criticized for his skating and speed. Now he is really good skater for his size.

Now I have claims for his quickness on the short distance with first steps. And he is more physical than he was before, but still needs to work on. And work on positioning in board battles. Overall he is good but I would say I want to see more agressiveness and quickness. You're very prescient.
And I believe he will work on that. He is smart guy, It's nice to listen to him, he was fair to himself, calm and generally made a very pleasant impression. I think he could be something between Severson and Graves, he need to add more muscles ofcourse.

I like his transitioning game. First pass, driving.

But the pace of NHL game is faster. Can`t pencil him as NHL player automatically.

You would be surprised. Guy absolutely deserved to be drafted. He was one of the best goalies in his age wherever he played. And he is big athletic guy. And he was good everytime and everywhere. It's driving me a little crazy. This is literally an option lying on the surface to solve our problems, which in fact costs nothing. No picks in draft day, no picks or prospects or players in trade.

+good Outlet passes
+great crease clearing
+Good speed
+reaction time/Play reading is great
+opposition needed two players to get the puck away from him
-twice was caught like a deer in headlights and just standing still and almost got scored on because of it
-Almost got beat by an opposing player that would have lead to a break away. luckily he managed to land a hit when the player was passing by him.

I give Muks game today a A-

This guy is reeealyyy fast. But if Shakir will play in NHL, he will face a lot of fast guys.
Would be great for him to work on his first steps. It could help him in defensive zone and in offensive zone. But I think it would be really hard for him because of his body building. He is very good skater for his size at least. He could compensate it if he will work on gap control, and will develope his stick work overall.

Elite Prospects has his contract going to 2022-23.

It will be interesting to see how hard SKA tries to keep him or if Nikolayev keeps his options open for a NHL signing next off-season.

You get extra credit for using prescient but that word has an implication of properly foreseeing the future. Not in the psychic sense but in the extrapolated from current trends and saw where they were headed. I think the word you were looking for in that spot may have been “perceptive” if you wanted to say I properly evaluated what you saw in the highlights. As always I’m sincere when I offer these word use tips for you. I’ve always said that for a non-native English speaker you do very well and I think everyone here respects your command of English. You can tell you are making your points when some posters want to argue with you. Hfboards Devils - come for the hockey but stay for the senile old man’s ramblings he sadly thinks are helpful definitions.

Truly did not remember that Murphy played a game for the Devils, don't even remember his year in Binghamton. I thought this was a joke about the great Larsson vs. Hamilton vs. Murphy debate of 2011.

That is not true. It costs a goalie spot and he'll need to sign a contract to play in USA because he was undrafted.

The Devils already have Schmid and Daws playing in the AHL with Brady and Malek likely to join them soon. Where would he fit in?

Eh, Murphy was 1 of 13 defenseman who played in NJ and it was one game.

He played 14:17 in 3-2 win vs. Carolina on 2/10/19. He had a primary assist on a Zacha PP goal. Exciting stuff.

14 defensemen played in 76 Bing games, I don’t remember a couple of the guys. (I forgot Tariq Hammond was a thing.)

I think it will be a little easier for him to avoid getting beat wide on North American ice considering his extraordinary wingspan and reach

actually I believe since 2019 the KHL has renovating and changing to a smaller surface. NHL rink size is 61x26 meters. KHL rinks now are 60x28 and 60x26. I think the corners are slightly different to between NHL and KHL.

Perhaps @Guadana can confirm?

Some rinks shorter some bigger. I didn't track which one is smaller and how many meters they got. I will try to find info.

I checked it. You are right. 7 teams had 60×30 rinks two years ago, I don't know, did they change it or not. But as I understand they should do it year ago.

If he will continue to play on the level he play, I don't care. Backup in NHL for example. If "Brady" is the person why we will not sign him, so our management group are dump.

I think he will sign two years deal after in KHL. And than he is hot cake.

Thanks, man. Its better to have some friendship and a couple of fatherly advice mixed with jokes than silly mockery and enmity.

In the video shared Mukhamadullin played exclusively on the left side. I hope the trade-Severson-asap fraction takes notice

Muk has nothing to do with Severson. We got to move on from Severson by the deadline at the latest or he walks for free. Nemec is the guy why Severson is now redundant.

Nemec most likely won't play in the NHL this season and I wouldn't mind to give him more time to develop outside NHL.

I’d say it’s more likely than not that Nemec plays some NHL games this season. Nemec’s play, the Devils, trades, and injuries will dictate how many.

Should he get one more year to season? Yeah. But you don't hand Severson a huge long contract when you have a 2nd OA bluechip prospect 1 year away from the NHL. So what it comes down to is do we let Severson walk for nothing at the end of the season? Or do we play him up until the deadline then trade him? I think the best course of action would be trade him at the deadline. He's going to bring back a 1st round pick plus. It wouldn't be a great idea to let him walk. The only way I wouldn't trade him is if we're in the playoff picture already but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Nemec has the skill to play NHL games now IMO. It's just not worth burning a year on his ELC for him to play sparingly especially when we are a cap team now. I just want them to play the patient game and develop him properly. Defensmen take longer to develop than forwards , we really need this kid to be atleast average defensively in his end. He will learn so much about the game in the AHL this year. That's where he should be 100%. Zetterlund , Bahl , Ohoktyuk and Holtz deserve an NHL look especially Zetterlund since he played the most in the AHL of those 4. Utica might take a hit talent wise with those 4 not being down there all year but Nemec would be a big addition down there. Another year of development from Daws , Schmid , Walsh , Clarke , Thompson etc...They should have a decent team this year. There will be some good talent playing down there.
