Not looking forward to this storm. I really hope it's on the low side of estimates, but you just know we'll get slammed. Boston is going to get cranked hard with 2 feet and possibly more.

As of right now I expect 6-12 from the city on through about Melville. From that point east to say Islip 12-18 and then like 18+ east of there

I dont see how they don't cancel the game tomorrow, and if somehow it's still on I'm betting under 1k in attendance

I get the bit about both teams being present and the game will be played.

But how are they going to open and run an arena? Not sure how you are going to get hundreds of part time workers to an arena for less than 1,000 fans during a white out. Maybe no fans -- They did it for covid -- I guess they can do it for a blizzard?

isn't there a rule if both of the teams are in town they play the game? I am assuming Seattle got in last night after the Penguins game, at the least I can see them pushing the game up after 5PM when the snow is supposed to stop, and maybe the ask the Rangers to play a night game the next night as they are supposed to play the Rangers at 1PM on Sunday, they could also play Wednesday or Thursday as both the Islanders and Seattle are off until the 9th and Seattle is going to be in Boston on Tuesday, regardless I hope they don't wait until tomorrow morning to make their decision if they are planning on postponing it

Our estimates are for 9-12 inches. The low side of that is too damn high.

I think we snow, just know that we’re still on the western side of things here

Any slight shift east or west would mean less or more snow

12z guidance came in a bit east (lower end of the forecast totals) but it could just be “noise” at this point

as for coastal VA, where exactly? That’s a tough forecast

just to clarify, lower end is still around 12-15” for central LI and like 8-10 for NYC and around 18” for east of Islip… it’s still a lot of snow,

I went during a blizzard Habs vs Isles at the coliseum there was 3,000 people there maybe 2,500 were from Montreal all bussed in. It was like a habs home game it sucked I think we got blown out too.

Agreed and even if it shifts a duck snort east, the ratios will be very high so its still an asstastic amount of snow ...
