BAH GAWD KING is that Levshunov's music?!
Florida has the option of keeping their '25 1st they traded to Calgary if it is in the lotto and their '26 would go unprotected. We are getting the '26 unprotected because the '25 will not be in the lottery. So Florida still owns their 2026 pick, so KD basically gave them the option to still trade it and let us get the 2027 instead? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a trade like that before.
flip one of these 1sts and Kurashev to Buffalo for CozensKurashev and Murphy are all that remain of the Stan Bowman era. It’s finally coming to a close.
only way they get a 1st and Knight for Seth is making his AAV market value otherwise they send him off for significantly less if at all...Knight is such an intriguing piece of this deal, at one point the best goalie prospect in the gameDon't like retaining for all those years, but not a surprise given how Seth Jones has performed over the years here.
I am happy to see him leave, though. Borderline ecstatic that I don't have to watch him the next 5 years.
And to get a future 1st and potentially THE future starter for the Hawks? Love it.
Knight's actually got a higher saver percentage and lower goals against average than Bob this year. Bob's probably been getting the tougher opponents and Knight's played a lot less games (39 to 23), but that's still impressive for a goalie who is only 23.
Dickinson vs Rinzel!Solid deal.
Askarov vs. Knight
Celibrini vs. Bedard
Dickinson vs. Levshunov.
KD winning the rebuild battle bigtime now IMO.
Nah Peterka if he’s actually available.flip one of these 1sts and Kurashev to Buffalo for Cozens
get Peterka and throw him on a line with Reichel...would come at a lower acquisition cost than Cozens as well?Nah Peterka if he’s actually available.
It’s actually potentially tied up in a Calgary trade, so it had to be conditional. Assuming Calgary gets Florida’s 2025, which is all but assured, Chicago gets the 2026.So Florida still owns their 2026 pick, so KD basically gave them the option to still trade it and let us get the 2027 instead? I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a trade like that before.
Couldn’t agree with you more. It wasn’t that long ago that the reality of moving Jones came with retention and adding a sweetener. Now, Kyle actually got some value back.A+ for Davidson on this deal given the NMC, AAV, public request...adds future trade piece in a 1st and a potential franchise goalie for a guy that had zero interest being here
How has he looked this year?
Knowing sorenson alec Martinez
Thank youHe's looked good. The only knock or concern about him is his mental state / OCD problem he's been fighting with. Hopefully he's gotten that taken care for good and it wont be a problem anymore
