We really shouldn't care. We literally need to spend this money to hit the floor with this team. The only thing I don't love is tying up the retention spot but this signals to me that they are going to spend heavily this offseason and won't be bringing in more assets short-term that they intend to flip and retain on.

Should be an interesting offseason because they have to spend a lot of money. We will be welcoming some very overpaid UFAs this summer if KD can swing it.
