Although Subban is a stud on their blueline, I feel confident that we can limit him for the most part. We did it against Karlsson and Ottawa...why not this team too?

G and Mcdonagh needs to be better, and I think they will be. Some rest and practice will do them good and allow them to reset.

I would be more confident if Nash was more useful. He has no excuse for his lack of goal scoring, unless he's playing hurt.

Really? Kreider has one goal on the powerplay. Stepan hasn't scored since game three in Philly. That's one goal in the last eleven games from our top line. That's not good.

Really. You are most definitely not a Rangers fan. You would know that Kreider was injured for the majority of these PO and has only been back for 3-4 games. But don't let common sense and fact get in the way of making biased and frankly downright pathetic arguments.

Pacioretty has 7 points. Their leading points-getting forward is Lars Eller on the third line with 9 points. Not much difference here.

:handclap:

Please explain how what I said proves that I am not a Rangers fan and didn't know Kreider had been injured. He has one goal, that's what I said. True or false? If you're going to call someone's arguments pathetic, at least acknowledge the argument, don't just make **** up. You just end up looking silly.

Pacioretty woke up in the last two games of the Bruins series. They probably would not have won that series without his awakening. But if you believe that the Rangers can get to the Cup finals with just some secondary scoring, knock yourself out. I don't see it. At some point, your best players need to be your best players.

I met a habs fan on twitter who said hes coming down to NYC thurs-sunday and is going to both games. Man this canadian hockey fans dont mess around. I would never take off from work. Thats gonna be a 1k trip at least for games 3 and 4 of ECF. Granted I would go to chicago or LA for a cup clincher if we got there, but man.

Playoff hockey >>>>> and far more important than work. Then again, I am self-employed.

You are not even worth arguing with. You make the point that Kreider has one goal. He has been injured for 11 of the 14 games in the playoffs. How the hell is him having one goal in three games relevant to anything?

I drove home two days early from Virginia to watch game 3 with my dad against Philadelphia. My CEO already knows if they go to the SCF I will be attending at least two games. The things we do for hockey :yo:

Work is a different mentality up there. They get a ton more vacation time. When I first moved down to S. Florida some maniac from Quebec that I played hockey with was here on vacation for 9 months, vacation!

To answer your question:

Okay? It's not a knock against Kreider if that's what you're reacting to, but the criticism was that our top line has not been producing. You said they were. I showed you that they have not been throughout the postseason. You have come back with nothing besides personal insults. Please, if you're so wise please explain how our top line has secretly been producing and we just haven't noticed it.

Don't get me started on foreign coworkers. When times are busiest, it seems they are always on vacation.

If Game 7 is on the (rumored) date of May 30th, I will miss the game as I will be in the middle of a flight to London. Already checked and the airline doesn't have live tv and their wi-fi doesn't support streaming. So I was wondering, is there any way to watch a full replay of the game online after I land? Hopefully we can end this in less than 7, but we're the Rangers, so I've already got the game penciled in

From the main playoff thread, you'd wonder why we're even gonna bother to show up?

I can't believe (yes I can) how arrogant Habs fans are.

The line hasn't been producing because Kreider has been out for all but 3 games. His first game back was rough due to rust. So it's really been 2 games that he's been "back". I saw a huge improvement of that line's play when he got back and in the groove, and his physicality helped the entire roster. That line will be fine if they stay healthy. No worries. LGR!!!

Here's to a great series between Mtl and the NYR. :yo:

Hopefully whoever wins, wins clean... without injuries... so that they have the best shot at a Cup.

And here's to fair reffing...

Don't confuse the 12-year-old internet warriors with the adults, bro.

Older Montreal fans have all the respect in the world for the Rangers and the city of New York.

May the best team win.

Cheers.

I don't consider Nash one of our "best players", unfortunately.

When the need arose, our "best players" (Lundqvist, Richards, St. Louis, Zooks, McD) were our "best players".
