So apparently the train between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur only costs about $15 USD. I have a week between Sydney and Yangon and am thinking I might try to do 3 days in Singapore, a day on the train, 3 days in KL!
Do it!
KL is awesome.
Gotta give that a sploosh.
Man I don't trust those cinematics anymore.
KotOR is my favourite game of all time. I was a beta tester for the Old Republic and was happy to shell out a monthly subscription when it launched. I grinded all the way to max level and then...
The game just wasn't good. It was unfinished, it lacked content and it was highly derivative.
So yeah that's a dope trailer, but it doesn't move me anymore.
So I just heard that Peter Mansbridge is retiring. Kinda strange to see him going after so long.

I can't say I really know much about the city outside of the Petronas Towers, the fact it is the capital, and that it is on the mainland. But none the less I like to see as many places as possible. If I could restart my New Zealand trip I would have done it a bit differently, so I want to use that learning experience for the future. Won't get to see as much of Australia as I would like, but since it is much less expensive I will see what I can in South East Asia.
Not sure how it compares to NZ, but while most of SE Asia is fairly cheap, I don't think Singapore is. That said, I've never been there myself, so it may be possible to do on a tight budget.
I've got a friend studying abroad in Singapore at the moment. He said it's majorly expensive (in terms of COL) and fairly boring. The nice thing about Singapore is that it's a great home base - location-wise - when travelling around SE Asia.
My claim to fantasy sports fame is a first place finish in a league of 100 participants in a "backward" fantasy baseball league. The principle is similar to yours: positive points for at bats or innings pitched, negative points for good outcomes: hits, HRs, RBIs, runs, etc for a hitter, Ks, Wins, etc for pitchers. What are the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur?
On an unrelated note. Some friends and I had a draft for an anti-pool. 1 point for a gp, -1 for a goal, -1 for an assist. Probably the only draft Alex Chiasson will ever go first overall in.

It's very tricky, as you need to find everyday players (to accumulate positive points) who suck. You need defensive-minded position players (guys like Ryan Goins), inning-eaters (RA Dickey), especially on bad teams. Incidentally some of my best players on the year that I participated in were future Jays Josh Donaldson (full-time catcher for Oakland at the time) and Liam Hendriks (awful starter for the Twins at the time).
No kidding. In retrospect, it was a re-skinned WoW with absolutely no end-game to speak of... and I don't recall PVP being much fun, either. Completely wasted potential.
Whelp, if Game 1 is any indication so far (and the puck hasn't even dropped yet!), I think I'll be abstaining from GDTs again this year.
I just don't have the patience to put up with it. Maybe I'll see how it is by December 1st and re-evaluate then.
