My hatred for UPS grows every time I order something from amazon.

I'm home all day expected a package. Even included my buzzer number and everything. Go check turns out... no no they don't use the buzz code. Do they knock on people's door??? Well then use a ****ing buzzer #. Oh you didn't write down the buzzer# well then look at the package and search for that name...

Oh my goodness it's infuriating. The driver literally just made more work for themselves by having to drop that off twice today.

Arrrgggghhhh..... at least I know I feel better as I've been stomping around and not wanting to die!

Yippee the flu is over... hopefully no more 40 degree fevers for a while.

My annoying customer service story of the day is Auckland transit.

For like the 5th or 6th time this weekend they have had to do rail maintenance on my line. Fair enough, but I usually can get to work for 7 on a Saturday. When the trains are down the first bus doesn't get me there until 7:45 so I have to take an Uber. It would be nice if they had the replacement busses that could get you there at the same time or before, not almost an hour later. But what do I know, maybe the kind of people who get the 6:30 am train on a weekend are the kind of people who can afford taxis

We talking annoying customer service, here's mine with Bell (Again my apologies to anyone here who works at Bell):

My old phone broke in April, it was 3 yrs. old so I figured it was a good time to get a new 1. Anyway we phoned Bell and they said yes I'd get a new phone no problem. That Friday when I got my new phone Bell said they'd send me a refurbished phone for $150. The 150 dollars was insurance, we had been paying insurance since March 2013 when I got my old phone just in case my phone broke which it did 3 yrs. and a month later. Anyway we didn't want to pay the 150 dollars as we thought and where told insurance would cover the cost of an old phone. Anyways I ended up with a new phone, Samsung 5, and couldn't be happier but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding Bell.

Phone companies are notoriously bad for costumer service.

What irritates me with this is if they just provided good service I'd be happy. Just do what your job is, I'll be happy! I hate having to call and complain and sometimes that's the only way to actually get them to do their job.

But I get that you can't always please everyone either.

Eventually Amazon is going to take over the shipping business and UPS will be sorry they were so incompetent.

Twenty one pilots nailed it on SNL tonight. Well worth the watch for both sets. i find most fail when it's live, but Tyler j was flawless and his drummer was pretty entertaining too

Rewatching Stargate. So good.

Which series? I never got into Atlantis or Universe but SG-1 was my jam.

If I was sick and staying home from school, I'd say about 80% of my day consisted of watching SG-1 reruns on Space.

Atlantis was fun. Universe unfortunately fell off the wagon.
Had potential but was aired at a time when syfy was moving away from sci fi.

It also wasn't quite a traditional Stargate product, which meant that it's established fan base was a bit on the fence about it

I thought Universe was awesome. It was a nice balance between the episodic nature of stargate and the more serious continuous story arc of BSG.

Unfortunately a lot of non star gate fans didn't give it a shot because it was a stargate, and a lot of stargate fans hated it for the reasons you described.

Ah well . . . Westworld is going to be the new benchmark for Sci-fi TV. The Expanse is pretty good too, and maybe the new Star Trek show will surprise people.

The first episode of Westworld was fantastic, eh?

I've also started watching Atlanta, which is surprisingly well done.

Im rewatching from the start. Currently in season 3. Will eventually be watching SG1 + Atlantis at the same time in the correct order.

I can't say enough good things about Westworld at this point. HBO released the second episode early and it's just as stunning.
