Does he play wing? He can shoot & score. Try him on the top line maybe. I remember the debate about the 4th line center. Lots were saying Jenik, but I suggested having an extra scorer. Only 4 Senators have more goals than Gaudette.

Man I am so glad they kept Gaudette instead of another "solid defensively but kinda boring fourth liner".

Games are a lot more fun to watch when your bottom 6 is not only responsible in their zone, but can score when we need it. Been a while since we've had that in Ottawa.

The Rangers are frauds the only reason they win games is because of Shesterkin period. Tonight they got completely outplayed and the Rangers aren't winning shit this year they are a very average team with a an extraordinary goaltender!
Odd opinion. They have a +17 goal differential which is the best in the Eastern Conference.

Yes, that was the thinking. Get a prototypical grinder in there versus a player with skill.

Dont think it would have mattered if we had Pinto and Zub back if a goalie plays like that

Ostapchuk and MacEwen have been very good.

Ostapchuk is patient with the puck and didn’t seem fazed at all going against one of the best teams in the league. He’s quick, big, strong and smart. This guy will be a player for us.

We desperately need Zub back. I can’t stand watching us waste Sanderson’s time with a 7th d-man anymore.
I feel like we have much more fragile players in Chabot and Norris, and even Pinto, Greig is also known as a guy who regularly misses time to injury. Team is just fragile as a whole.

Zub has been struggling the last couple of years for sure with staying healthy still think he can shake it.

We got goalies, ironically this game just reassures me we are a good team this year

Gaudette is like found money

Hamonic needs to stop shooting, the offence does every time he fires at centre of mass

We have left a few points in the board we should have had, over the course of the season we need the goalies to steal a couple of games to make up for it

Ready for tomorrow!

To be fair to Hamonic, I don’t think he had a bad game.

People need to be realistic. This is a guy who’s our 7th defensemen and he’s asked to play top pairing. He’s not there at this stage in his career but he’s also not doing horrible for coming in as replacement.

No one was really in his face. Something to bitch about.

Like take that one bad goaltender interference call to rattle him.

Thought maybe cousins would do something like that

But they have kreider and he would kill Ullmark and I don’t think Ullmark can take that sort of stuff. If he gets hit we might see him again in February

Defence 101 is you tie up the man in front.

WTF was that?

There was only one guy in front.

Both Sanderson and Chabot played 27 minutes.

Going to be very, very hard to keep guys fresh when you have 3 D playing 13, 12 and 8 minutes.

They desperately need Zub back to get the minutes back under control.

It is very inspiring that they dropped Hamonic back to the minutes he should be getting if he was in the lineup.

It’s pretty obvious that he’s an everyday player for us, which is utterly insane. JBD never saw the ice in the 3rd, unless I missed him, and only got 8 minutes on the night.

Sanderson and Chabot both over 26, Jensen over 23, Hamonic 13:46 and Kleven 12:45

They are starting to use Kleven more ;

Not sure if JBD got hurt he only had 2 shifts in the 3rd,
