Have to say Staois' pickups so far are looking darn good. Gaudette, Amadio, Gregor, and Jensen all look like upgrades on the guys they replaced. Seems to bode well going forward.

Can't ask for much more save for some individual mistakes. Overall a solid team effort at both ends like we saw against St. Louis but facing the best goalie in the league at his best, not to mention Rangers are great at clearing pucks etc.

Same effort most night will get you an easy win.

You can tell why NY has been going deep into the playoffs year over year recently. They have the goalie and they have the zone play. But we outplayed them all night. I just wish we had a few more dirty rebounds.

Kleven was really good the kid gets better every game .Most of the boys had great game just no result maybe not Hamonic and Sanderson.I feel like we missed good sniper shot in this game , Gaudette provided but it has to come fron top 6 in close game like that. Hats off to Igor and Rangers even in a meh game they still showed why they are 1st in the East right now.

Does he play wing? He can shoot & score. Try him on the top line maybe. I remember the debate about the 4th line center. Lots were saying Jenik, but I suggested having an extra scorer. Only 4 Senators have more goals than Gaudette.

Their forwards didn’t shine tonight, but I’ve watched a few of their games where they looked unbeatable. Probably the biggest threat in the east because they can win games when only half their team plays to their potential. Rangers are good, one bad game from the top line doesn’t mean much just like one good game from our forwards doesn’t mean much either.

Anyways, lots of hockey left and that game will get you to the playoffs if we can be consistent.
