It's a pretty big deal the sale, like possibly biggest ever in NHL History. It takes a minute.
Relax folks, we got it good for the first time in a minute. Enjoy the ride FFS. The tone in here would make it seem things are doomsday like.

interesting. I would not expect him to dish any dirt, if there was any. On the other hand he could have just said "it's been fine", but he went a little further than that.
on the other other hand, if I was in his position I would be complimenting the hell out of how smart the whole process is.
Good answer all in all.
Kipper sounds like someone who is very confident of the bid he is part of. I wrote two weeks ago that this can drag into the wee hours, but expect news by end of this week.

Really goes to show that the media has been making this seem like a bigger mess than it really is. We, as fans, expected this deal to be completed within a week or two after the bids were submitted, and now that it hasn't been firmed up, we think for some reason that it's a total gong show. So much speculation from the reporters because they probably aren't being fed jack ****.

Interesting. Mendes on TSN1200 right now says one of his sources who’s “never” wrong gave a tip today that would be “seismic” news. He couldn’t get confirmation on it though so he didn’t say what it is. Makes you wonder
Hopefully this means he's trying to fulfill the language requirement to buy Andlauer's stake in the Habs.
