Another week, another "it's getting there".

Get the hell outta here with this never-ending process.
So you complain and whine, no big deal, someone says something you don't like? Biggest whine you ever seen....

It's a pretty big deal the sale, like possibly biggest ever in NHL History. It takes a minute.

Relax folks, we got it good for the first time in a minute. Enjoy the ride FFS. The tone in here would make it seem things are doomsday like.

Whoever ends the owner, we coming out strong.

interesting. I would not expect him to dish any dirt, if there was any. On the other hand he could have just said "it's been fine", but he went a little further than that.

on the other other hand, if I was in his position I would be complimenting the hell out of how smart the whole process is.

Good answer all in all.

Kipper sounds like someone who is very confident of the bid he is part of. I wrote two weeks ago that this can drag into the wee hours, but expect news by end of this week.

Really goes to show that the media has been making this seem like a bigger mess than it really is. We, as fans, expected this deal to be completed within a week or two after the bids were submitted, and now that it hasn't been firmed up, we think for some reason that it's a total gong show. So much speculation from the reporters because they probably aren't being fed jack ****.

I don't think everyone feels this way, which is why not everyone is enjoying the ride.

Now Sparks is on Twitter asking for recommendations for online French lessons. Can we please put an end to this already?

Anyone else in a routine of getting up, checking this thread to see if there's any news, and then proceeding with their day?
Whenever I'm waiting for people to get online for work meetings, that's when I'll chime in.

I usually open this thread with curiosity to see which random celebrity is now involved with the sale.

Interesting. Mendes on TSN1200 right now says one of his sources who’s “never” wrong gave a tip today that would be “seismic” news. He couldn’t get confirmation on it though so he didn’t say what it is. Makes you wonder

The last time he started with this stuff it was the Snoop news.

So I'm not exactly edge of my seat here.

So we’re pretth much f***ed if this isn’t solved by the June 7th BoG meeting, right?

" the four groups that submitted final, binding bids at the May 15 deadline have been whittled down some, all remain in the mix for the club"

Do these reporters know how ridiculous they sound? They've all said exactly this ad nauseum. What does "whittled down" mean, then?

Lol seriously. Who pays these guys' salary? Might as well just have AI refresh the drivel containing nothing daily
