Andlauer's health care company was recently valued at $2.2 billion and his personal net worth is listed at $1.2 billion.

Wouldn’t net worth be higher, or what Am I missing. Does this include his Habs investment.
Does he own the company outright? Sounds like he doesn’t.

His business is publicly traded, so he doesn’t own 100% of it. But in any case, i would not trust any net worth number you see on the internet .

Andlauer heath care company isn’t completely owned by him since it’s publicly traded.

His net worth is likely higher since the last google update tho. Those things are at best cases guesses for lesser known billionaires he doesn’t seem like the guy who will make all his assets public.

Anyways I agree that I just want the most money possible to own this team but if Andlauer has solid partners (something euge never did) I think ownership for the sens can be pretty stable

If he is the owner, what possibly could be holding it up to make that announcement?

If you got to the stage to tell which bid is successful, what else is there to do beyond making that announcement and letting the lawyers and the bankers work on the paperwork for the next couple of months?

I imagine there are stages to selecting. You don’t want to dismiss all the other bidders the moment you have an inclination.

Which goes to my point, if there is a chance that another bid can still win it, then you cant have a winning bid yet.

I am just at the bargaining stage of where I am still hoping that the Kimels win it instead :|

None of these twitter kids know what is going on. They just throwing shit at the wall hoping it eventually sticks and they can brag about it.

When legit sale news/leaks comes out it will be from Garrioch maybe Mendes or any actual insider like Weekes or Chris Johnston. Not an 18 year old with a Sens blog.

I don't think hfboards' charter demands 100% veracity of posts in a rumour thread.

I imagine there's a point at which they prefer a bid, and it's that bidder's bid to lose, i.e., the blinders are on to the other bids at that point.

But that process could be disrupted if one of the outside bids suddenly becomes much more attrictive. Thus the Sparks's group thrashing and making noise? Maybe Kimel and Astroboy are still campaigning too, just more quietly?

Maybe we are starting to see what the Remington Group called 'bidding against ourselves'.

if we assume the reporting is more or less accurate, they would figure: we have the highest bid; we are giving the current owners their 10%; we plan to move downtown to either a city property or ncc property; We have given you everything you wanted. we even include a premium for the downtown opportunity . We want to be awarded the bid based on getting 30 days to negotiate the downtown land. quit nickel and diming us on a deal because some other group has included the cast of Degrassi (OG, not next class or anything) so that you can get an extra 20 million or whatever.

I feel like pointing out that the 30 day period would have passed by now. We would all be getting makeovers in case we end up on Welcome to Ottawa.

yes, I'm aware of the Remington guys having done this before, but the bonus on the franchise price was always a land/development deal, so there's only so far you can squeeze that.
