I think they are playing bids against each other tying to squeeze as much as possible the situation. The risk is they end up with an insecure bid that over promises. When the sens were awarded the franchise it was a group that promised whatever the league wanted then scrambled for investors to match it resulting in an unstable ownership group that had to be bailed out. Sounds like a Neko Sparks bid.

Whereas a guy like Andlauer is financially secure and has a hockey backfground but likley not the highest bid.

They are pressuring groups to cough up more $$$$ using a riskier bid.

They may be doomed to repeat history,

I don't understand how so many of you are on here all day posting about this bullshit lol. I'd be exhausted.
I'm rebuilding a couple of VMs, and don't have time between prompts to delve into anything productive. I've already finished my push-ups for the day. This hand-wringing and irregular, unpredictable dopamine dumps is just what the doctor ordred.

Hopefully that trusted source is more reliable than the other sources that led to the premature declarations yesterday.

Can't be wrong on this one, if Andlauer wins, he knew it all along. If he doesn't, things changed completely in a 24 hour period and someone pulled ahead.

The old reliable speculation with outs on both ends, with a trusted source giving well known publicly available information.

loool here comes the walk back from these twitter 'insiders'.

At this point, I might finish the new Zelda game before they announce a new owner.

Love seeing LeBron get eliminated. Amazing player but such a phony.
All the power to you if you want to hate on him, but the accolades speak for themselves. Greatness is often hated on and I hated Crosby and Kobe similarly, and Lebron was on my shit list during his Miami stint, so who am I to judge. I won't clog up this thread with basketball debates either way.

If I can just add one point it's this. The Warriors and KD did this to me. It was a fun rivalry for 2 years until they basically cheated the rest of the league. No team in NBA history would have beat that squad, hell, nobody could even pull off more than one playoff miracle victory against GSW those years let alone a full series against them. It basically put me in a stance of anybody but GSW, no matter who, which meant getting on with Lebron.

Never said he wasn't great. He's probably the 2nd best player ever. Nobody touches Jordan.

Pretty much this. I'm salty about LeBron dominating the Raptors for so long, but I can't deny greatness. LeBron at worst is the 2nd best baller of all time.

I'm happy he's eliminated just because I wanna see Murray and Joker win.

Bettman has often said that what has been reported by the media has been inaccurate. I would laugh if the winning bid was some other person/group that hasn’t been mentioned before.

I loved Jordan just the same. More of a Rodman fan those years though and atm I'm probably a bigger Reaves fan than Lebron.

I don't care about GOAT debates across generations. Impossible to qualify imo and just leads nowhere. Arguments for old dudes I never watched too.

I liked the Raptors too, but those weren't championship teams pre-Leonard imo, so I never really got on the bandwagon with too much hope. DeRozan just wasn't ever going to be enough.

And I like the Nuggets too. Lots of mutual respect there for sure. They're gonna win it easily imo. Calling a sweep.

We'll have to agree to disagree there, Toronto would've made at least one finals during the LeBronto days if James wasn't there utterly dominating us. The conference finals against the Cavs in 2016 was competitive until game 5 where the Cavs just found another gear defensively and offensively. If ATL had beat the cavs and faced the Raptors, they weren't getting past Toronto.

Well maybe make the finals, but they weren't beating the Warriors. Cleveland was the only team capable during those years imo and it was only because of the Lebron factor maybe being enough and even then I considered it an uphill battle.

I think they were very smart to do what they did with Leonard in hindsight and were even lucky he didn't stay with all the injuries after. No chip ever comes to TO without him imo.

100% agree that they wouldn't have beaten the warriors with DeRozan, my only argument/opinion is that we'd have made at least one finals if not for the King (ef you Lebron)
