That's possibly more notable for who they couldn't get to join their group - Andre De Grasse.
Bailey is much more notableThat's possibly more notable for who they couldn't get to join their group - Andre De Grasse.
Bailey was considered the worlds fastest man at one point (100m world record holder)How so?
How many posters on here do you think were even born when he was winning Gold in '96?Bailey was considered the worlds fastest man at one point (100m world record holder)
I think he would have much more brand recognition in North America esp since racing against Michael Johnson
I am in my early 30s and Bailey was a household name when I was growing up. Do the vast majority of the people buying tickets to Sens games know who Bailey is? I would say yes.How many posters on here do you think were even born when he was winning Gold in '96?
75% -80%,possibly more, 96 would make people 27 now.How many posters on here do you think were even born when he was winning Gold in '96?
A live shot of Michael Andlauer
How is Ian pulling for any one group? Just because he seems to have been the journalist chosen to have some info leaked to in regards to the Sparks bid? Should he sit on info and not report it? Seems kinda silly dontcha think?Nice use of vague emotional language. Being upset/disappointed at a claim =/= denying said claim.
Oh, Ian.
Would have a absolutely zero issue with it if he honestly presented himself as a mouth piece for the group. Relaying controlled info from your 'source' to your audience is not 'news' or 'scoops' - it's PR, plain and simple. How is Ian pulling for any one group? Are you saying that when Melnyk died, the value of the team was determined and the capital gain became taxable to Melnyk's estate?Capital gains on this transaction are going to be complicated. Daughters are only exempted from capital gains tax on increase in value during Eugene's life. Every valuation of the Sens have indicated their value increasing massively in the last year.
I wonder how CRA will see it, will they except a linear increase in value?
