Mine was a joke based on peoples views of stats in a tournament.

You're being too defensive..nobody has called him trash.

I'm not too defensive, there's a lot of absolutely ridiculous things being said about him. This board is full of opportunists.

So, McDavid needs to score at least 100pts next year to remain generational, right?

McGenerational? Hardly....Much more impressed by Mathews and Laine and Aho........

You're right, the oilers should trade McDavid for Aho based on this tournament. If history has taught us anything, it is that players who havr success in these short tournaments always go on to have the most success in the NHL.

Typical HF, he scores over a point per game as a rookie in the NHL, but a couple quiet games in this tournament and he's all but a complete bust.

True enough. They don't have the luxury of replay after replay at different angles that we do at home.

I don't think it's anything more than 2 minutes either way.

Stone likely lost his balance (without the push). The push wasn't a major one but it was still away from the boards and to the back of a player and that's what the refs saw.

How is this Canada team not blowing out this US team?

Our coaches think throwing talent out there is enough to win games. The US coaches, players were smart enough to buy into playing systems and as a team. This is completely on Team Canada if they lose.

That's because we need him to play better (nicer to watch). Points in NHL doesnt mean anything if you can't produce now (nobody in our Finlands team really made many points this season). No one really remember points anyhow in any season (well, excluding Selännes rookie year of course).

I wish there was a way to watch this without a stream.

The stream i am watching has no ****ing sound and buffers a lot. The other streams are just way behind.

McDavid has been disappointing. Whether it's because coaching, linemates or the guy himself (injuries somewhat still affecting) but he hasn't been good enough.
Playing at his worst and leading his team in assists not to worried.

You do realise most people are being sarcastic with their comments?

I'll bust a gut laughing if this Team Canada has to play the Russians tomorrow for bronze. They'll get smoked.
