McDavid lost the generational label based on a nine game tournament. I love HF.
 
McDavids getting crapped on all tournament yet he still has 8 point including assist on 4th goal, that's why he's generational. When most other have bad stretches they don't get any points.

Forsberg was 21 vs McDavids 18, and in his first season scoring was substantially higher than it is now. The two is not comparable at all, and that's despite Forsberg being an incredible hockey player.

I couldn't agree more. He's a great player, but I never saw a "generational" player when watching him. He won't be the next Crosby.

Those were 100 year anniversary jerseys. I'm sure Hockey Canada will break them out again at some point when they need to gouge Canadians for more dough.

I wish they were the permanent sweaters though.

They might have been special anniversary jerseys I think. Either way they should have made the, the regular jerseys. The ones hey have on isn't creative and is quite plain

This means squat that was well before dead puck era and the low scoring we have today :shakehead Forsberg was 18th in ppg in the NHL that year At age 21//22 Mcdavid 2nd at age 18/19
