The commitment to defence is crazy, I’ve never seen this before.

Not the same level but from the senior level, the style of defensive dominance reminds me in some ways of the 2014 Sochi Gold winning team.

Seeing junior aged players buy into this level of forechecking and defensive commitment is impressive, they are simply suffocating when it’s wave after wave.

Cozens definitely has that Stone quality where the puck sort of finds him.

He has more of a motor than Stone but not as offensively cerebral IMO.

Cozens has been the most impressive player for team Canada to me. Actually seems like a high hockey IQ player, at least moreso than I for whatever reason was expecting. One player who on the other hand has not impressed me is Quinn. And also Byfield, who doesn't look like a star at all. Byfield is one player amongst many and more like a passanger, Definitely disappointing for a player who's supposed to be NHL ready. Doesn't drive the play at all.

I think so.

Byfield is a bit misleading because of his loping skating style but he goes to the busy areas and makes plays.

Zary has been more of a perimeter player IMO.
